Thank you for listening! I used a Zoom H6 recorder, 2020 model. I keep the sensitivity around 25% and set it on top of the piano with the lid closed. And I just connect the mic to my phone with a long usb cable instead of recording the audio and video separately.
This is great! I’m guessing most have not listened to this prelude and fugue played by anyone until now. First, well done. Second I am putting this on my list of first things to hear every morning. It’s a modern sound to add to my obsession with Bach and Vivaldi. Thank you. Also, on that list is my own modern orchestration of Bach’s WTC Book One Double Fugue in C# minor for trumpet, saxophone, baritone horn, trombone, organ and tuba. I love the intertwined melodic lines emphasized this way and would love to hear a live performance. Many people are missing out on polyphonic music because they have not tuned their ears to it and think it to be old and stale music. You are proving them wrong about the old and stale. Check it out. I will be listening to your not old and stale production of this prelude and fugue every day. Thank you!!
Excellent. I have never heard this piece before. Thank you for introducing it to me. It took longer than I was expecting for the harmonies to get as spicy as this composer is known for, but it was worth the wait.
