I've been on RU-vid since 2007 and originally uploaded skating videos onto my old channel I made in March, 2008. I made this account in June, 2009, inspired mainly by destructionfun1/smashstuff30 who I started watching in January, 2009.

Hey Pal, let me tell you about Maxell. They have been around since 1960. They are best known for their recordable media amongst several other things now. In the 1970’s and through to the 1990’s they were likely the best known recordable audio cassette tapes. Anybody that had a tape deck in the 70’s and 80’s was using recordable cassettes by brands such as TDK, Sony, Fuji and Maxell. But I think Maxell was the best known and most widely used. It was a staple of any audio enthusiast to have a box of 10 Maxell UD-XL II’s by their stereo. I still have hundreds of ‘mixed tapes’ from those days and they are mostly Maxell, followed by TDK. Nowadays Maxell still makes recordable media and oddly enough batteries. I’m also an amateur watch collector and I only buy two batteries, Renata and Maxell. Maxell are also favourite in the photography industry for alkaline chemistry battery applications. They are a big name. And in any facet of electronics you’ll see their name as they don’t usually make any junk products. Thanks for a great unboxing video. I wanted to see how it arrives. I bought mine from Amazon and have been getting allot of items delivered to me appearing used or open, parts missing. It’s become a huge issue with Amazon and something they need to address or it may have an effect on their retail empire.
Ah yes , philips C quality products/ actual E waste as soon as it left the factory . No azimuth screw , cassette deck that self-destructs because of sheap pleatic gears , scrummy speakers wich are tin-can midrange nonsense . It deserves to be deleted from existing .
Considering how much dust came out of it, apparently someone threw it out because they vacuumed with it for 40 years and didn’t know they had to change the bag
