@@ioinstruments6810 sorry, nach 11 Monaten Funkstille und das in diesem Business macht man sich natürlich Sorgen. Kann man bald mit neuen Modulen rechnen? Ein State Variable VCF in der Qualität vom Euporie wäre super.
What a fantastic fat crazy sounding module. I mean this, if I would have started Eurorack today, I would want to build a whole IO Instruments skiff. They are so nice looking and quality build too. To bad I'm already over crowded with modules. 😕
yes. you can use both exponential CV inputs (marked A and B) and the linear input to CV control the cutoff. All equipped with attenuators to control the CV signal.
Hi there, I recently bought one of these filters and have a question, I tried to find contact information on the website but could not, how can I reach you guys via Email? Please let me know thanks! My resonance knobs and switch seem to have just stopped working 😢
I got my Kalyke today :) Great timing of this video! Just wondering, how does the ratched mode with the ADSR work? It does something in the attack phase, but what exactly? Are you selecting different predefines ratchets or is A and D controlling parameters within the ratcheting? Is the sustain always 100% in ratchet mode?
Hey! Once you activate ratchet mode in the ADSR section, the ATTACK slider lets you choose the number of repeats (slider down -> many repeats, slider up -> fewer repeats) and DECAY slider is controlling how fast the ratchet repeats are being triggered (slider down -> fast, slider up -> slow). Sustain and Release behaviour does not change in ratchet mode. You can also look at it as follows: the ratchet mode adds a fast LFO to the attack phase resulting in the repeats. Thanks for your support & have fun!
Hello. I want to buy this great modul. I have two questions please. When i go stereo in what is with panning? How does stereo work. For example A1 and B1 as input? Can i use A an B out also as Stereo for the Master? Thanks for your help. Peter
Really great designs! So smart and still somehow very affordable. Plus they sound great! That filter especially. Congratulations IO. I see a Himalia in my future...
we are working on a dedicated video. In the meantime you might want to check out the Pasiphae demo here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FTLzn3naEV4.html
Just got my Himalia today, probably the best built module I have ever seen, and beautiful to look at. Closest comparison would be to Verbos, built like a tank. Shipped in a bright yellow cloth bag. Excellent quality and great price. And I havent even plugged it in yet. Cant wait.
Thank you for taking the time to make these wonderful modules and explain all the aspects of them in such a clear and helpful way in this series of videos. I will buy these modules for sure, they are incredibly useful and exciting. I adore the look of them also with the blue backgrounds like outer space and the brightly colored knobs looking like planets and stars, I could admire them all day. They are little works of visual and audible art.
Yes it does. Both the square wave (orange) and the 6 squares (yellow). And you can also change the sample (red) with CV and it sort of responds to 1V/oct but the samples are an odd number of semitones apart. It would be great if they were calibrated to one semitone per sample.
Hi there, the Ableton EQ frame tries to visualize how the 150Hz switch is influencing the frequencies. In the start of the demo, the button is engaged (= frequencies below 150Hz are lowered -> fewer bass frequencies). Once the switch is disengaged (no more active), the lower frequencies will increase. Hope this explanation clarifies.
Just Got one of these 2 days ago as well. Fantastic work on this one! Gorgeous! - fyi need a few more technical vids on this out there as well - i.e. relationship between the Exponential FM cv A to the rest as well as the relationship between the cv B to the whole filter - however it's the real deal!
is triangle core but modified and anhanced circuits around, so we have extra square/pulse wave shaper, specaiel sine wave shaper for accurate sine sound, subosc, real reset/sync sounds so wave starts from the beginning. tracking is good over wide range, we do extra video for !
