Bruv this is fake im from cyprus atleast north cyprus ill tell you the real history , after the ottomans lost a lot of wars they were lacking on money so they sold cyprus to britian in 1878 then ww1 started and britian took the advantage of ottomans being in central powers to fully annex cyprus,in 1930 the turkish and greek settleres originated from there revolted which was unsuccesful but then in 1960 they created republic of cyprus which got diestablished in 1963 because of the greeks massacaring the turk population the group of greek and turk republic fell and 11 years later turkey,with the treaty of geneva which in the treaty it said that both sides can come and protect their ethnicity so turkey did that in 1974
