I do wish Derwent would make a premium writing pencil. They seem to have withdrawn into an Arts niche. Good thing about Derwent is that they make a strong lead that does not break up or deteriorate like some of the Chinese manufactured brands including the French owned Oxford/Helix brand. Oxford/Helix masquerades as British and produces poor quality pencils and they have the cheek to call them premium. Buy cheap and you'll get cheap.
Absolutely Brilliant ! Why haven't I heard of Fracino before ? I'm in the market for a 9 bar espresso machine and according to James Hoffmann - £1,500 buys a countertop "pro-super" machine that doesn't quite hit the (temperature & pressure) mark. When an owner speaks so passionately about build and quality (and mentions an aerospace background) it really get's my attention. AND IT'S BRITISH !!!
Those hinge spinners take too long and wear out fast, while the Chinese quick release doesn't. Internal gear hubs are noisy and unreliable later on too.
I'm from the Midwest in the United States and I am glad that I chose what I hope to be one of the highest quality folding bikes on the market after doing a Year's worth of research to keep myself from settling on one half the price. The High functionality coupled with Low points of failure and a long-term product support sold me. The biggest complaint I've heard is people think it's outdated specifically pointing out the clamping mechanisms but I much prefer the reliability of threads and a Channel of metal to secure my bike over some quick clamp with multiple hingepoint and little washers and springs and retainer latches any of which can easily be damaged or fail on their own. I'm glad people are taking pride in manufacturing jobs after so many years looking down their noses at them. I'm hoping as this company expands year-over-year they keep up their quality and good name strong!
