In your opinion, what animatronic would go best next to THD 3000 inside of a garage display? Wanda Webworth? Martian Warrior? I cant fit Giant Death Ray in there, but It'd be cool to put THD 3000 next to something that doesn't necessarily talk but fits in a corn field theme.
@@DISstockmagic That is a very tricky question. Considering it can be hard to match such a theme to a corn maze. However, based on what I do, I can say that the Martian Warrior might probably look the best. I do an alien/ SI-FI theme every year and he really does looks good next to the aliens that I set up. I think it'll look even better once I get more alien stuff out. However I would stick with something that kinda brings the SiFi theme out and compliments him in his own field.
@@gemmybonez459 thanks so much for your comment based on your experience! My garage “bay” has a black backdrop with the moon and clouds, and the walls will have corn stalks on them. So kinda an outdoor-y theme. I agree that Martian warrior would look so amazing next to him, if not just leaving THD by himself in the corner. I’d really like to see your alien sci fi Halloween set up sometime!

@@bigdaddysherwood Unfortunately these guys had no motion sensors on them. As of this video I sold mine off because I had other ideas. They have sound sensors and try-me buttons. That's about it.

Definitely dig this model of the Santa, he stands out from his list, we definitely needed a lifesize Santa holding a list as if he’s checking it. I will however be keeping my 2023 Santa as I just like the soundtrack better and how he sings unlike this one.
@@ElijahBrown-l3n I do really wish they had kept some singing. I think the very first one had the best audio. And I originally did have him but unfortunately not anymore. He sadly broke on me and I was never able to figure out what happened. Otherwise, now I have this one and the cowboy which I am beyond happy with. I just can't believe how well crafted this one is. We definitely needed something like this

@@dalegribble8140 I've heard a lot of different things here as of lately. I think one of the things is that the copyright for the theme song is quite expensive now and if not that I've also heard they don't sell the theme off like they used to. It makes no sense to me either. The body movements and appearance aren't bad at all but unfortunately like you said the theme is missing and I don't know why. It's upsetting so I'm still hoping we'll get something at some point

@@sivvitytech3118 Mine is unfortunate a little busted up. I got lucky on eBay and managed to find this thing for the price that I did. Overall definitely a good animatronic. I am open to collabs if the time is right. I do also work so I'm unfortunately not always available

Also, in regards to this guy, it really would be cool for a sensor of some sort to actually be implemented. I really do love this guy. I think the sensor would just add even more to it
Definitely love this Santa! I’m actually glad they didn’t cheap out on him through the years like we all thought they would after the first model came out. This Santa is a god compared to the Gemmy realistic one.
@@ElijahBrown-l3n Compared to most Gemmy Santa's this one is definitely over the top. I absolutely love him and I love the voice. Like you, I'm so happy they are just improving them more every year instead of cheating out like a lot of these companies do. Overall such a great piece of work by SVI.

Oh my God. This one has to be the best one yet. Especially the voice, but not only that I love the music. I really wish the company would make smaller versions of these because my room is not really that big. I wish they would make a table top out of this. Like seem nice base speaker, but just a smaller version that can sit on your table.

I have no idea how they could execute every detail but over all it's definitely an amazing life size and it could definitely be a cool tabletop concept. The over all design is just gorgeous on this guy. I'd say the design is definitely overall the best we have received
@@robotortoise I definitely thinking we're living in another sort of golden age of animatronics. This one is a good example of it. The fact we get Spooky Scary Skeletons on a licensed prop now is insane and I never thought I'd see the day.
@@gemmybonez459 Yeah, absolutely. I just feel bad for Andrew Gold, who never got to see his song hit mainstream popularity. He passed in 2011 and the song became popular a few years later. Agreed about the animatronics though. it's amazing to me that servo props are being continuously released! I do wonder why it seemed like it started all of a sudden with Grim.

I would also add that the beard just looks SO perfect too. It's long and beautiful. Along with that, Like you said, the overall appearance is just gorgeous and over all I think this is the best classic take on Santa we have received by far.
He's pretty cool. I like the list. This one is different from the others because he doesn't sing. I do have a few issues with him. One the voice. It sounds a little young to be Santa and I wish he sang at least one song. Like I said I think it's interesting how he has phrases. It makes him unique.
I think I would agree. The voice I feel like could've been a bit deeper, but at the same time I feel that it's somewhat fitting still. I am very bummed there were no songs because I was for sure there would be. It is a shame but at the same time I absolutely love him in so many ways. This is quite possibly one of SVIs best Santas yet.
The Christmas Disney collection is actually incredible I won't lie. I don't blame you for wanting them. I think the only true bad one this year would have to be that buddy the elt. Truly a disappointment. They should not have let Gemmy do that one.
I actually do believe so as well. And the funny thing is that it's not even fully plush. He is genuinely built a bit like a Grave Raver and I absolutely love it! This is probably the best little plush-like animatronic that we have received from a retailer and I love it! Definitely a great concept. Idk how Big Lots pulled this out of thin air but it's awesome.

I definitely think he's worth it! Although like you said not everyone is fond of him, he's definitely grown on me and I think he's grown on many other people. Definitely agree. He's the best we've received in a good while.
@@jaimearredondo5088 Based on what I've heard and seen, he is supposed to be online only. However I know some people at flagship were buying him on the floor so maybe there is a possibility that he'll be in select stores.
This in my eyes is the best since the Gemmy ones, but this is a testament to how much effort was put into the Gemmy ones having lifelike movements. The servos on this guy are an excellent touch, but the way he moves is killing me- why he has to stop his head and body movements when he stabs and why he doesn't move his torso more is beyond me, and I don't know why he has to stab for so long when he moves. The movement on this is extremely robotic, even with servos, and I wish they would have tried to program him better. I also think just scary ambiance noises would have been a much better sound choice over this piano melody. Despite all that, he looks really good and a lot like the movie Mike, a very decent prop overall. Great review👍

I think you're right about the robotic aspect of it and I have to admit that his movements aren't as real as it could've been. I wish however that we could've received the Michael with the theme song or at least like you said ambience sounds. I will go to defend the melody only in the case of comparing it to that awful Gemmy ringtone Michael that has just destroyed the Halloween name. Obviously this guy isn't perfect, but I would say it's the closest we have received to a good Michael prop.

It's definitely not for everyone. If it's not your style then so be it. I get that it's more of a cute prop and kid friendly animatronic. Personally, I just think the concept is very cool.
