His hair is exactly like my boy's. I brush it and it's beautiful and fluffy, and by the next morning it's all curled up again. Is there by chance a product to use on the coat to keep it from curling so quickly? PS: I told the breeder that I was flexible about gender and color, but the one thing I did NOT want was a curly coat. She assured me none of her dogs would be curly. 🙄But we love him so completely!

This is a huge job. This dog looks exactly like mine. Without a 'grooming' table I find it really difficult. Also, the next day it seems that all the curls are back so quickly, so I often wonder, what's the point? I do sections at a time as doing the whole dog in one go I find quite a strain. Sometimes I wonder, dogs naturally aren't groomed so where did this whole grooming thing come from?
they also aren't naturally clean if not groomed. This helps protect comfort by minimizing mats and reduces the ability for things like dirt to build up and cause infections. Always remember. Just because something wasn't one way doesn't mean it can't be improved. Humans also used to rarely shower hundreds of years ago. Should we forego all our modern sanitation improvements in the name of being all natural?

I have a rescue dachshund (tiny legs) whose also sensitive about his legs. When the treat is in my hands, he only inspects with his nose - to the point where he gets frustrated! Any ideas on how else I can teach him to shake?
I have an English bulldog and we got him a medium and everything fits but the chest flap isn’t touching eachother but the buckle still closed. Is this ok? Or should the life jacket chest flap touch? We also tried a large but it was to big on him but the chest part touches

My understanding from veterinary dentists is that chews should be flexible and that you should be able to indent the chew with pressure from your fingernail otherwise you risk breaking or damaging the tooth. Additionally, abrasive materials like bone and antler can wear down the enamel layer which is much thinner in dogs than in humans. I wouldn't feel comfortable using the chews in this video
Thank you for your feedback, you've made some really great points. We do find that some vets do not recommend the harder chews, like antlers, because of the hardness but many do recommend them. We generally find that dogs seek out something incredibly hard when they are teething and if you don't provide a harder chew they may end up chewing a rock, which really could damage teeth! Many chews and toys can wear enamel so it's important to vary the texture and hardness of a chew and limit the time spent chewing. It all comes down to personal choice and you are absolutely correct to only feed chews you are comfortable giving your dog.

I recently bought an 8 week old Cavapoo. I practice the grooming daily. I can distract her with a Kong for a while, but she bites the tools & brushes. I'm hoping with daily exposure to the bushes shell eventually figure out they're no fun. Also, teaching your dog to "stand" (for treats) while you gently comb will help adapt them to grooming.
The downpour suit is better for warmer weather, it’s a lightweight waterproof with no thermal properties. It will help keep your dog warm just by creating an envelope of air between the coat and the dog but not like a thermal coat. Which makes it good for layering over a fleece in winter and wearing on its own in spring or even summer downpours!
@@heavyweightdiscgolf9521 They do but mines a mix so has lighter fur plus he rides in the sled behind the snowmobile and I warp him in a sleeping bag because he’s gets cold with the wind
My question is about whether a puppy will find it frustrating to have some of these - for instance, how does the dog get stuff out of the green bone you showed? Also, how can you clean some of these?
