Fz & Nick are 2 Guys with Spare Time who like to discuss the NBA and all related basketball topics. Actually we don't have that much spare time, with full time jobs, but we can always make time to banter on about what we see happening in the league each week.

2 years ago Giddey averaged 17/6/8 in only 31 minutes per game. In Harden's last season with OKC he averaged 17/4/4 in 31 minutes. I'm not saying he's going to end up being anywhere near what Harden ended up becoming but you can see with those averages what Giddey is capable of if given free reign to do what he's capable of. He is a tremendous talent and is only 21 and improving rapidly. It was absolutely idiotic to trade him and Sam Presti will massively regret it here in a few years after seeing what Giddey really is capable of.
This aged badly but I get what your saying. If you can trade for a top 5 player, then yeah make a move BUT looking at how this season as started, paolo and franz could both be all-stars (franz and dark horse). I would take Franz over any player in this draft not named Mobley, and franz is the best fit next to paolo. I realize this was posted before the season
This is a pretty bad take, Franz is top 3 from his draft class along with Barnes and Sengun, and with recent play Franz might have moved himself to number one. Keep it up and he’s an All star this season.
The United States have a number of players on their FIBA team this year who don’t even start for their NBA team. When it comes to the Olympics they bring a better squad but still not the best and win gold no problem. You can be sick of hearing the excuses but it’s just the truth. Do your research and don’t let emotion get the best of you. You don’t know ball
Good list(s), aside from Sabonis (he’s not a top 25 player, let alone top 20). But I’m hoping Pascal Siakam is in your top 16! Note: he has his way with Sabonis anytime the two play.
George Karl and Chauncey Billups both were agreeing Melo doesn't play D and loves to chasing stats over a team success. Kevin Mchale had said similar things about James Hardee's soon to be Carmelo 2.0
Gentlemen, Melo is one of the best Team USA players of All Time. A college National Chip. NBA players in the Melo era ALL AGREE he's the hardest player to gaurd. It's clear you fellas need to go back and watch the film..
Pascal Siakam is almost 8y older, and only made the All Star game because Durant, Curry und Williamson were not available. But yes, i guess the Raptors would consider this.
Smart was a true Celtic through and through. Celtics organization are always disloyal to their most loyal players. Not sure his heart will be in the right place with Memphis
This In-Season Tournament and the NBA Play-offs are just a money grab and glorified consolation trophies for teams who have no chance to top the league table. The In Season Tournament may also be the leagues secret idea to lessen tanking for higher draft picks. To make this new tournament more interesting, make it a qualifying tournament, and let international clubs from countries like Lithuania and Spain compete. For a better NBA Season, grow some balls and get rid of the play-offs, add promotion and relegation, and realize that you will always have a strong supporter base, and that it will become stronger upon the implementation of the truth listed above.
the wizards already came up with Jordan Poole , with his 3's and being a super star player 🌟🏀💍🏆 helped the warriors get a championship, but because Draymond Green assaulted him, things went down hill on the warriors this way he will have to be bothered with Draymond Green and he can grind and shine period 🏀😡
I agree with Faz. No doubt, Lebron has had some moments but they just don't seem to stick out in my mind as well as other great players (e.g. MJ, Kobe, Dwayne Wade, Shaq). All I could remember in two minutes were: 1) The bank shot off of a turn-around fadeaway 3pter vs. Toronto. 2) The block on Iggy in the NBA Finals vs. GSW. 3) LBJ's psyching out Gilbert Arenas which led him to miss those two clutch free throws in the playoffs. Maybe it just has to do with LBJ's play style? Honestly, I also struggle to remember iconic moments for Magic Johnson as well.
