I loved helping to put up roof last year and as soon as my back allows (old people problems...) I plan to help out again. Was such a blast!! I'm miserable about still not being able to return because it was long wait to start working on that site due to shut down of your ops during Covid. I'll be back eventually...
I love that Asheville Habitat and talented Mr. Young are rescuing sewing machines. Given the economic turmoil and the do it yourself spirit, helping residents sew and mend is truly a gift. So much beauty in that century old machine with the pheasant decal. Congratulations to your ReStore team for giving volunteers like Joe Young such an interesting way to contribute to affordable housing. -- Elizabeth, Habitat for Humanity of North Carolina
Seen Gov't Mule a few times and didn't know that Warren was doing this. He is truly an amazing musician and an even better human being. He just went up a few notches for being one of the coolest musicians on the planet in my book!!

Don't get so excited you pee your pants. The restores have no TP or paper towles. The rest rooms you'd think the homeless stayed in....but you can gobuild them a combustable house so when they cook their meth...they'll burn it down, and you get to build it again.
