Welcome to my RU-vid channel. I’m Rachel and here you'll find videos that are all about my creative passions. I love to share junk journal tutorials, junk journal flip-throughs and junk journal inspiration.
Thank you for sharing this, sometimes I need a reminder of these fun easy pocket ideas. I tend to get in a rut and keep doing the same things every time. Also, for making this fast and sensible.
Great ideas thankyou😊 I plan on making a Edith Holden journal with her book as well as using it i other ways in my art journals 😊 I have 2 copies one to keep and one to use in journals...😊
Great ideas! I have found various tag shapes in design space as well; it’s great for mass making tags, frames, and other shapes. Not the reason I bought my Cricut in the beginning but has proven to be most helpful. Thanks for posting! Now if only I could get my stickers and fussy cuttings to work for me. ❤
I was so excited to see you again Rachel. I did try to find you but now that you’re back, I’m looking forward to seeing more of your creations. I love this journal cover. It’s very pretty and I’m looking forward to watching you make the signatures and ephemera.
Even though you might have struggled a bit, I think your cover is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing your next steps. Thanks for sharing. Take care and God bless you and your son. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Hello young lady, I've been thinking about you a lot here lately. Weeks ago I went to your website and it was not found, and therefore became very concerned about you. I haven't watched video yet, but I'm praying that you and yours are okay. God bless you young lady. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Oh thank you Becky! We're very well thank you. I had to let the website go for a while but it is back up and running now. I'm slowly trying to get it back to the level it was at before, but it is taking some time.
Don’t give up…you explain things so clearly, in a steady way. And I like that you double check things…a reminder for us to do that. I will go to make the single version now. Painting the kitchen can wait!
Hello Rachel, I've been thinking about you young lady. I hope you are okay. I left comment here since I don't know of any other way to contact you. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Hi Becky, thanks for checking in, I really appreciate it. I’m fine thank you, I just lost my crafting mojo for a little while there while I was going through a change of circumstances. I’m happy to say I can feel it coming back so hopefully I’ll be back to uploading videos soon!
@@ClartyHandsCrafts I'm just happy to hear that you are okay. I'm sure it's got to be really tough being a single Mom and all. I'm 63 this year, I'm sure I'm old enough to be your Mom. My son will be 37 this September and his older sister will be 47 in September as well, yes they happened to be born 2 years & 6 days apart. Nope, wasn't planned that way, LoL. Anyway, I'm just glad you are okay. God bless you and your son. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
New subscriber! Thank you so much for sharing this and all the inspiration! I have searched RU-vid twice in the past month for junk journal ideas using Cricut and for small frames using Cricut. Your video was never an option. Wish I would have found it then, would have saved me a few dollars from buying files from Etsy. 😆 I have had my cricut for a long time, but have never really used it much. I recently got into journaling and realized my Cricut could be a time saver for fussy cutting. 😁 Can't wait to check out your other videos! Thank you again for sharing this and for clear instructions!
Thank you so much for these two videos about Junk Journaling and Cricut. I bought the Cricut Joy yesterday but I haven’t opened it yet because I couldn’t find any videos with junk journaling items. Everything seemed much more elaborate than what I wanted the machine for. Your videos convinced me to keep it and gave me some wonderful ideas of things I want to make for my junk journals. You made these look like so much fun. I hope you will continue this series.
Thanks for sharing (and for the short video length!)! I just tried it with USA's 8 1/2 x 11 letter size paper, and it worked except that the middle pocket is narrow with an opening almost too small use use....so maybe just use the top and bottom pockets and put an embellishment over the opening of the middle pocket. Finished size was 4 1/4 x 6 3/4.
Hi Rachel, you are always so creative, and I watch you as often when I have the time! I only get to comment occasionally because I watch TV videos while fussy cutting or sewing. I will also share your channel as often as I can. I am going to make the little notebooks in an upcoming video. Yes, It takes a lot of work to get any payment from youtube! Selling my journals is one way to get my money for supplies.
I stumbled upon your channel and so glad I did. I never knew that the cutting board can be used to score. I don't have a score board. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
