hi. this is fantastic. on of the best rendition on youtube. im new with a synth . i dont understand good if you only used nord electro 4d and roland aira compacts of other things ? in the description modular what does it mean ? i was searching a synth withouth keyboards for tryng to put classical piece with synth sounds and this sounds is awesome to me . i like it very much. like wendy carlos sounds.
brilliant - how long does it take you to program these pieces? i wonder if you would consider a 'process' video at some point about how you actually do it....
Many thanks my friend. Difficult to say as I work on several pièces simultaneously. I would say 1 / 2 week to programm the score little by little each day (manual piano play of each melodic line to create a midi file). And the same to do the sound design and the recording. It of course may vary if the pièce is very complicated to program and played manually without any mistake. I then spend some time on final mastering and vidéo filming, assembling....thats it :)
Super cool! You have done a fantastic job to reference the original score and added more and more. Philip Glass and modular seems such a great fit. Thank you!
