Hi Kristen this is Logan I follow you on your RU-vid channel and my aunt is using that libre of what are you using I thought you have a Dexcom and I understand all the burnout faces and everything and I saw the video about you changing your Omnipod and you did so great on your RU-vid videos
I am 4 months into using mine. I always get nervous on change day/ have saved your video to help me refresh when I need. But it's helped me stabilise my bs and I feel better for it.
Thank you so much for making & sharing this video. I’ve had my sensor (Libre 3) for 11-12 days now. Sometimes it drives me bonkers. lol. But I am adjusting to it (the app that is) the sensor itself I don’t feel and forget that it’s there. Just trying to learn it. I needed this video because I was wondering how to take it off to change it. You make it look easy and fairly quick. And let’s not forget painless. lol. I didn’t realize the needle was even there until after and then I learned of it and made myself sick with wonder but it didn’t hurt and I’m just hoping that when I change it that the new one is painless also. Cause that needle really freaked me out. Again thank you so much. I’ll be catching more of your videos!
I had my dr do it first...next time I will be doing it myself...and about the plastics, try to remove the needle, with plyers, and put it in your sharps box.
this thing is so expensive i had to go with the monitor reader thing instead of the phone after filling 2 mos prescription. the reader was expensive as well .
Is their only one time use for the applicator? How do you know, I have freestyle 2. My box say there are 2 in my box but I can’t get the applicator to take the 2nd one.
Put the new one on 24 hrs before taking the old one off. Then switch your phone to the new sensor and continue without any interruption. Not my idea, someone else on RU-vid suggested this. Sounds brilliant. Hey my sensor, my 1st one it was a trial shipment, didn't come with any alcohol wipes. Hmmm.
the pharmacy gave me a libre 2 scanner/meter with 14 day sensors and the scanner says this sensor cannot be used with this reader. do you know if this is correct? and what app do you use on the phone with the 14 day sensors?
I would like to know how to get the reader able to read a new sensor if the old one still has 13 days left??? I was told by the company to remove the sensor on my arm and put the new sensor on. It would work. The scan new sensor line did not come on the screen. Do I have to wait til 13 days are over???
Thanks - the nurse put my first one on 2 weeks ago so this is the first time I’m applying it at home. Really helpful to watch you go through the process in detail. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I couldn't find anything in the box on how to remove it. It really doesn't hurt at all! I'm still learning. I wish I had taken my glucose prior to the 60-minute wait time! And, my meter is iffy, better than nothing I guess. Thanks again😊
I'm on my 1st one now and was wondering about replacing it with a new one after 14 days, and your video is perfect. I'm glad I seen it. Thanks for taking time to make this video.
