I want to help other gardeners to grow!! I found while using RU-vid that there are few channels that helped with growing in higher elevations with shorter growing seasons. Also there were few channels that wanted to help others while admitting that they didn't know everything. I am here to grow along with you.....offer my experience, maybe suggest somethings, and to have a good time while we get our hands dirty. I am going to share my greenhouse, my garden, my orchard, my berry patch, and my love of growing all types of things!! I am excited to be here -- I hope you are too!! #higherelevationgardening #gardeninginUtah #letslearntogrow
Can you put a smaller tunnel inside your large one, with some sealed black water containers to hold heat in four corners of your new in-tunnel Seedling Tunnel, if your large tunnel is say 40 ft x 12 ft then make your seedling tunnel 10 ft x 9 ft and put it right in the centre, if you need high RH then add a bucket of water at vent or entrance/doors on each end for moisture and air flow too 🌞 hope you work it out 🙏
Pkease subscribe to the channel because in the next few days you will see a new video about successes and failures in the 2023 garden and the seeds we will be starting in April for the 2024 garden. Thanks for your comments . There will be many videos this year where we will be doing the actuall gardening.
I need to take pics of the watermelon, some tomatoes look good. Some have blite. (Yelloe and kinda dead looken. Lots of green tomatoes. My jalapeños are gone crazy. I need to show you a pic. 9
Awe gardening grandma my husband said they male plants are small squash. Laugh out loud lol. I am going out in the morn and pick them and fertilizing my female plants. We have 2-almost 3 zucchini’s ready to eat… I can’t wait. Another informative video. Thanks a mil
Ugh I hate spidies so much I scream like a girl. Haha what about the bugs in squash and cucumbers? Will you tomatoes still produce with that many leaves eaten off? Thanks for yet another good video
I think that most plants that are pollinated by the wind are grasses, weeds, and conifer trees.... this works for them because they sent thousands of pollen into the air. Squash do not pollinate by the wind... they need pollinator insects such as bees. If bees are not readily available in your area then manual pollinating will increase your yield.
The only way you can stop it is to dig up the plants that are coming into the lawn. If you don't want to do it yourself, advertised on Facebook marketplace that people can have them if they come dig them....bring there own shovel!! These can be transplanted even now in the heat of summer as long as they are kept wet.
Your moms place looks great. What helps red beets get going after their were transplanted? My sweet neighbor thinned hers out yesterday, brought us some. They were all laid over and looked like dead. We stuck them in the garden quickly and dang they still look sad very sad today. Any ideas?
Congrats to Tucker B? or if not him than whom ever…. Also I have a question about this mixture type of fertilizer I’m hearing about. With yeast? Does it work well here and would you recommend it. Our garden must have good soil bc our we’ve never done well and hopefully with your help and my foolish questions we might get something other than a few squash. Although we love squash & we planted several we want a good yr of other veggies & fruits. Thanks so much gardening Grandma and I miss your cute little grand daughter too.
For the record I didn’t say you have lost your mind. I love your videos and I have share them all the time. I thank you for the explanation. Is it a waist of time or effort to add aspirin to the top of the soil? Because I have my tomatoes in the ground already.
Well you know Kyle...sometimes he provides more colorful dialog. You can also mix 4 aspirin in a spray bottle (the quart size) and spray your tomato plants. I think it will be worth the effort. I am glad you are enjoying them!!!
Oh shoot I’ll miss your vids this weekend. After we decorated Austin’s grave we are going to Tabby aka Hanna lol I’ll check in occasionally to see what your doing. Thanks grandma!
I missed the rain today but the wind blew us to Myton… can I buy and use all three of these combs from one bag or 3 different and how do I know before planting?
