We design, manufactur and distribute custom picture frames for vintage records and trading cards. We have a unique mounting process that is conservation safe, easy to assemble at home, and beautifully displays collectable memorabilia. What kind of tabs are those keeping the record in place? I'd like to frame a record alongside its sleeve, but I want to make sure the materials won't damage the record itself.
We use a thin plastic attached by 3m double sided foam tape. making the tabs so the plastic is the only thing that touches the sleeve or record. Will not damage or stick to the memorabilia.
Hmmmmm, so it's a mat where the window cutout is a circle the exact circumference of the record and tabs keep it in place rather than using any adhesive and it still looks like the record won't touch the glass. Lovely! Good to know all this!
