We typically find that precision recorded acres are less than FSA acres, and while both types of records are acceptable to use to adjust a claim, accuracy is beneficial in the long-run. Ideally, policyholders utilize precision data to report acres at the start of the year, but in this scenario, FSA 578 acres were used, so had their precision planting maps reflected a larger amount of planted acres we would not issue a supplemental bill as liability generally cannot be raised at the time of loss.
