Thanks a bunch! :) When you have a sequence of 8th notes you tongue every 2 notes on the off-beats. In this scale here I begin by tonguing the first note and then start tonguing on the off-beats :)
Hello, can't find any video or instruction on this but I'm coming from clarinet and I find playing low C to Eb very uncomfortable on alto sax. Is there any tip for this or is that just the nature of only having Eb on one side?
Low C-Eb is a very annoying fingering and there's nothing you can do to improve it. The type of saxophone you have makes a huge difference as the height of the keys matters big time. :)
Ehm possibile but having a leak doesn't usually produce warbling notes but rather an empty note... Warbling (low) notes are most likely result of poor embouchure...but do have your horn checked just in case :)
Wow, this is so amazing. How did you do all of that? I will take my sax learning more seriously. I'm a beginner. I just bought a new alto sax. Thank God I came across your RU-vid channel. It's me and your channel back-to-back🥹.
I feel that my slap sound is in a good spot, but I'm struggling to push the tempo and get a faster and more consistent slap tongue. Any thoughts or advice?
