Bro, it wasn't that cheap - it's a Disney resort, not a Motel 6. And the Value Resorts at WDW are cheaper and light years nicer than this. There's no excusing this kind of crap on Disney property, at any price.
@@DarkSideOfDisney it’s a 2 star hotel and the lowest rated hotel in the park for a reason are you expecting the same standards as the Disney 5 star hotel fair enough there shouldn’t be smashed glass etc but if you wanted something better you should of stayed at the Newport bay club or the New York hotel which are both 4 stars and absolutely lovely never a complaint to be said between them
Thanks for the review. I'm heading there in November for my hubby's b'day. How do you book dining? Can it be done in advance or when you get there? Also, did you use any of the spa amenities?
You're welcome! We didn't make reservations for any dining - I don't think you can, actually. It was all walk-up. And the only spa amenity we used was the hydrotherapy circuit, as shown in the video. It did seem like a very nice facility, though.

My mother used to go to this place when it became P.T. Flagg's all the time in the late 80s. Some of the best times she's ever had there, she said! If you ever watched the movie Xanadu, it was a lot like that club. Lots of theming, lots of wild and crazy shows, lots and lots of fun!
What all inclusive would you recommend in dr for fun , good food , relaxing , nice beach for 2 single 40 year olds. All in all as a package what would be the best considering everything i menyion?

Saw the rapids, and the water cannons numbered 1- 3 o or 4. They should theme those as well. Put some type of dino over them so it shoots water out of their mouth... That would be cool.
The last time I went to Six Flags America in 2015, Mind Eraser certainly lived up to its name by means of giving me a massive headbanging-induced headache. From your POV the refurbishments seem to mitigate so many of the issues the ride used to have, which is such a breath of fresh air. SLCs have a nice layout, and without the major rattle issue the public can get a good chance to enjoy that. It's also awesome to see some newfound investment in the park. The coaster and overall amusement lineup is pretty solid, and they're honestly not too far off from recapturing the interest of visitors in DC area.
Yeah, the old restraint system with the hard headrest was brutal. Between the new restraints, new trains, and refurbished track it feels like a totally different ride. So much more enjoyable.
Quick questions…. I’ve booked this resort because of high ratings for this July. I’ve watched about ten videos tonight and every video shows this place completely empty with people. Now I’m having seconds thoughts.
No, it definitely wasn't completely empty! You can see in my video plenty of people around for the foam party and the magic show. It wasn't super crowded, though, which was nice.
Maybe a dumb question, but in regards to the food does “a la carte” mean that you have to pay for the food? Or is it included in the all inclusive price of the trip? Thank you! Love the video!

Not a dumb question at all! I haven't been back to WDW in close to a decade, but I do still go to Universal, Disneyland, and various theme parks in other parts of the world. WDW is just too expensive and complicated now. No desire to get up at 7am on my vacation to book rides.

Bathroom tip at these resorts: just make sure you have a balcony and designated "bathroom time"- make as much noise as you want while painting the bowl!
That's less than I expected for the tub. The installation is probably going to cost at least twice that, since essentially the entire room has to be built around the length of the tub.

Hello there Dark side of Disney. Just returning to this video qfter a couple of years to enjoy the Underbelly of the magic. The stuff behind the curtains. This is all very entertaining. At the same time though, i would be scared shitless to be doen there. Not necessarily because of getting caught and banned by security, but because I have masklophobia. (Fear of mascots.) So bumping into them would make me jump out of my skin. Lmao.
