I saw this performance live (😭😭) and could not believe what I'd just witnessed and this is the first time I've watched the video back... why did it take me two and a half years?? now I could cry bc I remember it so well but I also had a side view so couldn't see all the members at the time. This was my first time seeing dreamcatcher (I flew to germany specially for them lol<3) and blackpink was the first kpop group I ever followed :'))
The performance is great, except they gave HanDong less than ten words in a 3:05 length song, where certain members basically sang the whole song (Yoohyeon, SuA, JiU). And on top of that, HanDong gets, AGAIN, zeeeeeero screen time and pushed to the back throughout the entire choreography. Is as if she's a backup dancer and bg chorister, and not a member of the group. Very disappointing they keep discriminating HanDong 💔💔💔😒
I think because this song is originally for 6 members? if I'm not wrong it came out when handong wasn't around (scream era), so that's why they don't want to give too many other members' lines for handong.

Dreamcatcher always knew how to do covers. They don’t just copy the melody and lyrics and hope for the best. They put their own signature in every cover so in the end you have a different version, closer to their own music concept. “Kill this love” was the song that got me into K-pop so it’s special song for me. Dreamcatcher is now my favourite group and to have them cover the song made it so much special. In the end I want to be grateful to Blackpink for their impact on K-Pop. I may not listen to their songs anymore cause I found groups that match more my vibe, but if it weren’t for Blackpink, I would have probably never found out about Dreamcatcher and other groups that now are 90% part of my playlists. I wish all the best for Dreamcatcher, Blackpink, insomnias and blinks!
