Welp I just did this mission and its expert variant today 😆. I'll have to do the first part for the oracles (because I'm not too bright) but it turned out to be a lot easier then i was expecting.
I wonder if they'll ever make the gun just drop on the exotic list in the tower. I don't wanna do the quest to involve 4 kill streak on gambit. I'm not a PVP player. I'm not good like that. I'm great at PVE. but it doesn't take skill on PVP. it's literally just sweaty grisly tryhards and mouse/keyboard players that make the game absolutely toxic on there. I don't think I'll ever get the gun unless they make it at the tower.. just being honest with myself.
I think a big problem is the way the stat points and armor system works. Like use other mmo types pf armor setups would work so much better. Like armor should be random rolled with perks like auto rifle expert(10%to auto rifles while wearing the armor)
For the Warlock I like the strom master power fantansy ( so I don’t like arc soul nor ionic traces) I imagine more The super is just like song of flame, you become overcharge so your ability recharge faster and your grenade is a mega storm grenade For the aspect I like arc web but better : every time you damage an enemy with an ability create a Lightning That damage and jolt them + for the storm crown (I think) exotic a change to fit that new aspect so you gain a stack when a Lightning Strike an enemy and each stack give you ability regen and damage :) ( I have so much more ideas but tell if this one is good first) and remember I love your video continue like that :D
What if the personal assistant perk somehow combined with jolt? Rework so that when you hit an enemy with the assistant perk active, the target and anything hit by the jolt get "tagged" by DARCI's AI. Once this happens, like the weapons in Fifth Element, hipfire will auto aim for the same spot on either the main target or failing that, the next, nearest tagged one. Scoping in again will turn the function off manually. If you want to keep the support weapon concept, it can extend the effect to any weapon with explicit lock-on. Final Warning, Hakke rockets, neomuna weapons' origin trait, and other DARCIs.
I like the evasion tank idea, but if it's random, that may not make it a popular choice. You really don't want to hinge a run on luck. How about the keyword? Interference: while it's active, enemies don't lead their shots, so as long as you can stay in motion, lines rifle can never hit you, tracking shot don't bend your way, etc. How this carries over in PvP is that it applies to aim assist and/or reticle friction and can make enemy radar behave funky when you get close. The opposing team can still hit you, but it has to be right on target. The idea is the same, playing into the speedy, glass cannon fantasy, particularly if you can get interference and speed booster going at the same time. Taking a little bit of inspiration from Doom 2016 where as long as your are moving, projectiles are a non-issue.

The new warlock “rift” should work as a vertical ring(the little bigger than a rift) that you cast in front of yourself and run through to get the buffs
Titan stasis melee ability. Charge the melee to grow a stasis crystal and release to shatter the crystal sending slowing I've shards out in a spread in front of you

As a fellow commander enthusiast and destiny 2 person, I couldn’t agree more. Where I’m sitting, I see 4 major problems in increasing level of importance in my opinion. First, the mod systems kinda suck. They’re boring, only reward picking up orbs or elemental pickups, and don’t encourage changes at all. Previously, even in PvP, there was a lot more variance in the mods I used from set up to set up. Now it’s usually just surges, a siphon, and maybe a super generation mod or ammo mods. Prior, I could spec into weapons, charged with light, elemental wells, or warminds, or a specific mod. Along with this, I think buff stacking from unique sources needs to come back. Several exotics went from very useable or even potentially meta, to now completely defunct due to the inability to damage stack, debuff stack, or buff stack. This is a common feature present in almost all other mmos, that no longer exists with the exception of radiant and some other niche cases. Furthermore, abilities, aspects, and fragments to be tuned well. Revisiting void (my favorite subclass) was very sad for me this release because nearly all of the grenades except for vortexes and potentially suppressors are useless. They don’t do enough damage game wide, have unnecessarily long cooldowns for little reward or don’t actually provide any incentive. Void titan is arguably one of the weakest classes in the game due to little subclass integration, bland aspect choices, and poor payoff. Same can be said of void warlock in pve. There are only 2 aspects worth running, which are good but do not very effectively mix and match with the fragments to create unique builds with a worth it investment. And finally, what I would argue is the most detrimental aspect to buildcrafting is exotic blandness. So many armor and weapon exotics could be good, but simply do not provide synergy or an adequate payoff. Take path of the burning steps for instance. Before the changes, you could stack radiant, the damage buff of the exotic, and potentially other damage buffs to make your weapons extremely powerful, but it required investment. In addition, take lucky raspberry. While it reauired you to place your arc grenades properly, it gave you a huge payoff for investing all of arc hunter into one grenade. Currently, both exotics, along with many many many many others provide quite literally no reason to run them. Why would you run ticuus instead of an incandescent weapon. Why would you run Tommy’s or tarrabah or Darci or huckleberry or borealis or telesto or bad juju or arbalest or cryosthesia or crimson or mida or no time or quicksilver or revision or suros or sturm or jade or chaperone or vigilance wing or centrifuse or jotunn or Lorentz or Prometheus or ruinous effigy or skyburners or symmetry or any of the other pointless exotics over a legendary counterpart with more synergy. This is not even to mention how many classes have truly unuseable exotic armor. Like promethium spur, all the arc hunter super exotics, alpha lupi or any others. Armor and weapons absolutely need to be reworked before builds can improve. And don’t even get me started on nothing manacles
Yes and it started when Bungie murdered most energy regen mods, leaving surges as one of the few things worth running on your armor Edit: Actually it started when Bungie replaced CWL, Warmind Cells, Elemental Wells for a worse mod system. Then further gutted that system by making any energy regen mod shitty and not worth using.
interesting topic indeed ,but i always believe in destiny there is no build or buildcrafting ,there is loadout ,u simply put exotic and pair with good weapons and aspect and fragments there you go if u dont run certain aspect or fragment u throwing honestly ,thats why i believe there is meta loadouts and again if u not runing this loadouts u once again throwing (for end game pve ofc) but i have to agree with ability spam in pve iam hunter and iam runing every gm this season with liars handshake with prismatic i dont even need anti champion mods or guns for armor mods u are completely right we need more variety there not sure about warmindcell but we definetely need more curretly every veteran player simply dismantle every armor in the game ,bungie needs to do same thing about it, as u said maybe set bonus if u wear all the same gear (for god sake not extra reputation like seasonal gear)
if i dont remember bad i have heard that pale heart exotics (kvostov, still hunt, microcasm) count for dealers choice, tbh i dont know if its true, but i have heard it
Problem is that when a game has been out for basically 10 years, it gets harder and harder to release things. You can only re introduce a meta 140 hand cannon so many times before it gets stale. A clean reset with something like a destiny 3 allows them to do crazy things again without the fear of breaking the sandbox
