Was at the Toyota Dealership in my area yesterday and asked about the Toyota Stout and the salesmen didn't even know what i was talking about. I was told there are 17 hundred dealerships in the USA SO PLAN ON WAITING AND WAITING AND WAITING before you see this ride at any Toyota Dealership.
And they are forced into replacing EVERY engine in their brand new Takomas and Tundras ..... since they must have hired former FORD or GMI engineers .... who forgot to remove machining debris. Looks like ALL automotive manufacturers eventually attempt to maximize profits at the expense of quality once they have created the illusion of elevated quality standards. And of course, they increased all sticker prices and dealer add on charges. Geee what would a toyota be without nitrogen in their tires! These RU-vids are all baloney
Heck myself and two friends had 1985 Hilux's. They all ate 2.5 qts of oil every 3K. Toyota said it was within specs. I have a 2005 Honda Pilot with 273K that still uses next to no oil. Toyota had a bad run of rings that didn't hug the cylinder walls enough so oil got into the combustion chamber.
And once again, showing the 2024 model, not the 2025 which hasn't been released, and there are absolutely no factual statements about the 2025 as it hasn't been released yet ! In other words, FAKE SPAM !
It isn't even a truck. It's a very good and very expensive Honda automobile with a Walmart baby pool in back. And btw, stop calling CUVs "SUVs". If you don't know the technical differences, look it up.

All manufacturers have their own issues. I have the Bronco Wildtrak and I had to laugh at your comment about two strong men to take the top off……simply not true. I can take the entire roof off by myself in 15 minutes. The suspension is great and I have had zero issues with the 2.7L. I actually enjoy getting up and driving the Bronco and if need be I can get through a lot more conditions than the next guy.

Unfortunately, the Ridgeline is just another overpriced, overrated and overaccessorised SUV with a half-ass bed!!! I drive a big truck for a living, and I have driven real pickup trucks in my life!! Honda's quality is undeniable but it's a shame that Honda calls the Ridgeline a truck.
Bro stop being a little ❄️ with the "not a real truck" take🤦♂️ homie, if you have use for a big truck that's 1000% perfectly fine, or even if you don't and you just much more prefer having one, that's also completely fine! But not everyone needs or wants a huge truck or a mid size (usual choices like Colorado, ranger, etc) where most of their money is going towards the trucks towing/hauling capabilities. Some people just need a mid size truck for their daily commute while also having the option to carry some larger or odd shaped items that wouldn't fit in a traditional car/suv and would rather that same amount of money go to improving their daily driving experience. By every definition the ridgeline is a truck, maybe not the truck you'd buy and that's FINE. Not every vehicle is for every driver. It's the truck for people who aren't towing half their damn house and just want the option to load and move larger items easily and still tow a decent amount if need be.
Lots of potential! Great vehicle for many. But there needs to be a real trail sport version. 2.5” lifted, a touch wider, 7,000lb towing, side storage in the bed like dodge.
Definitely expensive but what isn’t in 2024. I remember how when the 3rd gen came out how all the haters were bashing it. Well fast forward to now. Get used to it. Once they get the quirks ironed out (btw ALL manufacturers are going through this phase now) then it will be fine. Toyota will always hold their values. That’s just facts.
its like every aspect of the 4th gen is worse in every way. too expensive, no v6, and made in mexico. id consider buying one if they werent so damn expensive.
The Frontier has some reliability problems centered around the transmission...so yea....it costs less and there is less to fail on the engine with less compression or turbo system...but its still no more reliable than the others of its kind
@Commentleaver-c6x guess consumer reports was mistaken on ranking the 2024 Frontier among the least reliable vehicles due to transmission problems...and Nissan put out a recall on 2023 Frontiers for transmission problems...and the class action law suits against nissan for transmission problems in 2021 and 22 model years
@@signkutter9218 yeah, I certainly wouldn’t take everything consumer reports says as gospel. The recall was just for a parking pawl issue on certain trucks. And the class action lawsuit involves vehicles with CVT transmissions, which the trucks don’t have.
@Commentleaver-c6x the lawsuit is over malfunction of the 9-speed "GE9R01A" trans in Frontier pickups. It's not just consumer reports (as if they have a vested interest in damaging Nissan) , it's multiple sources.
