I've always find fighters being cocky and trash talk too much a turn off hence its the reason why I dont fight UFC etc. Watching fighters show respect for each other is what make ONE a great show to watch

Greetings Sir i have a question. Is there any truth to people saying that a black belt is not needed to compete in the cage and that blue belt is more than sufficient for fighting, especially if you have a wrestling background? Please forgive I'm asking because i don't know. Thanks in advance.
@Krufessor_Rad
@Krufessor_Rad День назад
You do not have to be a black belt to compete in MMA. It's a matter of preparedness. This is something to be discussed with your coaches. They should help you assess your skills and determine when you may be ready to step into the cage if that is your goal. I hope that helps.

If you want trash talk,anger and other behaviour in martial arts then watch movies, anime and other things so i prefer to watch one championship because it has full reality and true martial artists ❤❤

Started jits at 46. On my third month, and it’s equally amazing and painfully brutal at the same time. Sticking with it.

Depends on the range. An Out-Boxer will dance around and land many punches and Muay Thai fighter will have no answer to them while eating them. Boxer can easily learn how to avoid kicks in a very short duration due to superior footwork, MT fighter will find it very difficult to adjust to a "Outside Boxer". However in a clinch and close range it's a no-brainer that MT fighter will absolutely destroy a Boxer with elbow, knees and throws. Suddenly, Boxer feels how a MT Fighter feels when he's closed to a Wrestler.. TL;DR Range superiority: Boxing = Far Muay Thai = Medium Wrestling = Close

As you said, the most significant difference is the core values. UFC sells conflict, trash talk, etc; OC sells superhero story, humility, etc. About product variety (MMA, Kickboxing, etc), both of them will expand theirselves, filling the gap, so the product variety will be similar. About the generous free fights from OC, it's just marketing, they will become like UFC once they become big as UFC. It is time for UFC to capitalize their past hard work, at certain moment OC will do the same. My opinion is the OC core values: superhero story is far more sustainable than UFC core values: conflict, trash talk, drama since for UFC, to create a compelling conflict, you must create "real" problem (McGregor throwing bus for example). Other than risk them to real criminal allegation, it also risk their reputation since there is a very thin boundary between making a interesting conflict and disinterest people because it become too far. At the other side, for OC, being humble is doesn't cost anything.

I like external timers. With a long workout the last thing I need is to be looking at my phone and getting sucked in to dealing with notifications, etc. This is really important with my home gym where its even easier to get distracted.

😊 I've a hang bar at home, and I've been hanging for upwards of 9 months 7 days a week. I'm hooked, stronger, my posture is fantastic! My back pain is totally gone. My weight training is through the ceiling. I can't say enough for all of the benefits I've experienced. Thanks so much for this information. ❤

Thanks for sharing. I do this hang-stuff for 40 years now. Before I started, I had pain in my shoulders all the time. And as a Gymnast you don't want that. It is a fantastic exercise. I have a bar and rings in my office and hang approx. 10 times during the day. Perfect to relax and a good counter measure for my job. I am IT professional an gazing all day on a screen! Keep up!

I started Muay Thai a couple of weeks ago and I always get up on my toes when throwing roundhouse kicks but one thing I noticed is that the day after training my feet hurts in the middle and toe area on the top side of the foot Is this normal or am I doing something wrong which is causing pain ?
@Krufessor_Rad
@Krufessor_Rad 6 дней назад
It's pretty common actually. I call it mat foot. It's from training on mats a lot and all the movements we do. It can cause a degree of fasciitis, or a tight fascia on the bottom of the foot. A mobility ball on the bottom of the foot can loosen up that tissue and then stretching the calf and achilles is of great benefit.
