They didnt remove money from politics. So everything here is bullshit smiley glad-hands words so people can feel good about eloquent words. Regardless of side. Not removing money from politics will always fuck every system of government humans will ever come up with and thereby the people will suffer for it in the end. EVERY. TIME.
A most ineffective speech. No matter how elegant the words, appeasement and weakness only encourages evil to encroach further. We, in effect, place those doing evil in the superior position because we have cowered before them. Humility only works when we are the inferiors such as before God. Humility to our inferiors (morally) makes them believe their evil is a good, which it never can be; and undermines our virtue, making our virtue mere hypocrisy.
