I am new to middle school ELA and feel very overwhelmed at times. I have watched many of your videos and use many of your RU-vid videos in class. I love all of your ideas! Do you have all of your google slides somewhere where they can be edited?
Awesome!... Could you do a video on how to manage a homeroom... I have a 3-minute home-room at the start of the day... not sure what to do beside taking attendance... how to keep them calm / quiet for that short amount of time... as I don't have anything to assign to keep them busy while I take attendance. Any ideas?
@@teachingintentionally5606 they just come in for 3 minutes and then leave... its 6th grade... but I will have a full class with them later on in the day. I teach all 3 grades 6th, 7th and 8th.
Thanks for the video. :) What do you use your tickets for? Cash them in for prizes, treats, or other rewards like skip the quiz passes and things like that?

This is great... In ELA unlimited... are the lesson plans different per grade level? Is the rigor increasing from 6th to 8th grade? Or do you have the same lesson plans for all 3 grades?
@@nikhilrao7151 hey! Right now it’s the same. There are other resources inside ELA Unlimited, for each standard, so you could swap an activity if you needed something more challenging
