I’m very happy And my class name is so you know it’s one so one and it’s a very good name for my classroom. It’s gonna be a very good name so if you have so if you don’t know what’s your name can you please tell me and then I can know it because I don’t have any of kids so I don’t have any, babies and kids in my home because I only have my parents with me so that’s what you do. I love numbers and yearned to be a high school math teacher but school officials, particularly the DOE, discouraged me as much as they could (without making it look so obvious) from chasing my dream. I also recall CUNY guidance counselors discouraging me from pursuing my academic objectives. This was all done in an effort to keep certain minorities from reaching success and job security. The New York City DOE is the definition of toxicity. So, I did others things with my life. Now at 59 years old with three (not boasting) college degrees, I find myself working as a security guard making peanuts for a living in a dead-end job with no pension, no benefits, a simple but confusing 401k (knowledge of the stock market is needed), and the list goes on and on. How about that for a story?
Let's continue that story with having you return to college for the fourth time and successfully obtaining your Teaching degree in Math and now heading out to your first class! What a story that WILL be!!! Finally following your heart to do what you always were passionate about! Age doesn't matter, fulfilling dreams and goals DO!!! So you went at the time of the year when the stinger nets were out. But you are absolutely able to swim on the beaches at most times of the year. Snorkelling isnt for everyone. Also Cairns is humid heat not dry heat because of the rainforest
My husband and I are immigrating to Australia in March (from South Africa), and it's been really difficult for me to get into the swing of this year and set goals. It feels like we are in limbo - there's no point in making many plans in South Africa until we leave, and we can't really plan too much until we arrive in NSW. Definitely a very exciting year, though!
I’ve just gotten the teacher standing desk in my primary library classroom and it’s the best. I just have to stop other staff taking it out of library. I love following along. We love country music festivals and have been trying to go to something once a month together. Also I often get so overwhelmed with trying to find work/ life balance as a teacher/ wife/ mother/ small business owner so it’s lovely to see others making the balancing a priority
