Everything Cyberpunk! Videos covering the best franchises, books, movies, games, and universes in the dystopian Cyberpunk genre, which gathered popularity in the 80s and 90s.
I heavily focus on Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty, Edgerunners, and Mike Pondsmith’s universe as it’s my favourite and the most complete interpretation of the Cyberpunk genre, but expect to find videos on Ghost In The Shell, Bladerunner, Akira, William Gibson's work, and many more of the greats from the 80s/90s.
We will also cover real-life dystopian news stories, alongside updates from CD PROJEKT RED, masters of storytelling and creators of the Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher IPs.
I played Elden Ring with my best buddy using a co-op mod. We spent just under 115 hours on the game. While it was mostly good, (I'd give it a 7.5/10) we never finished the game although we uncovered the vast majority of it. It was repetitive with many copy-pasted bosses/dungeons , obviously reskinned enemies and the story-telling was so lazy it was almost avant-garde. To me, the game was memorable in some ways but not enough to be compelling. The fanbase can get a little rabid about how this game is the GOAT in all timelines and dimensions through the known universe - I find it decent enough but definitely not worthy of ALL the accolades thrown at it.
V's built different. Plus I think while V's body may be similarly rare like David to handle that much cybernetics in such a short time. Having the willpower and a chip repairing the brain is helping dampen the psychological effects.
Great Video! GitS is definitely my favorite anime franchise, and probably my favorite franchise in general, and I really feel like I understand the series similarly to how you do. I'm a huge fan of Shirow Masamune's art style and realky 80s/90s anime and manga styles in general (especially in sci-fi), so tend to feel like the original manga is my favorite entry, with SAC and the Oshii films very close behind it (Innonence is probably my third favorite film of all time, but I totally agree with your dialogue criticism). I've also been reading the Human Algorithm little by little over the past year or so, whenever I can get my hands on the physical versions, and I really enjoy that too. I'm going to start volume 4 soon. It's great to see a video from someone so passionate and well-versed in this series, thanks for making it!
Good stuff man - after I finished Elden Ring, I was also looking for a heavy From fix and so I played through AC6 (all three endings), Sekiro, and Bloodborne (including DLC). Also been dabbling with Dark Souls 1, but will probably put that aside for a bit now that Shadow of the Erdtree is here. Hope you enjoy!
It's honestly great to see someone go out of their comfort zone to experience something for themselves and determine whether they like it or not Also Fromsoftware dlcs are always the best Part of their games, they are not flawless, but they are always the peak of their game This is why Shadow of the erdtree will deliver
I'm not a Souls gamer, I tried to be, but I just find it frustrating. Which is fine, I'm not the target audience. I do like watching Souls gamers play, it makes the story accessible to the rest of us.
I haven’t done it yet but did you play through Armored Core 3 times? Apparently, the story for it only really unfolds over 3 times through. Only what I’ve read, not experienced by the way.
I just got into soulslikes after playing the Star Wars Jedi games and then Elden ring. Now I’m playing sekiro and wow it’s very difficult but so rewarding and so damn good. Sekiro sword combat is peak. I can’t imagine a game doing sword combat better honestly
Soo basically David has old genetics that have not been converted to the new type for chrome. It's evolution, some fly and the others jump off a cliff to their death 😂
First, Congrats on 100K my man! You've come a long way! Honestly I've never been a fan of Souls games.. I enjoy Elden Ring for the art direction and world exploration.. but I hate the combat. I'm more of a button mashing, arcade style player.
You're a fan of Berserk and chose 3 FromSoft games, but none of them was Bloodborne? I guess you do need a console for that, but it's a must play if you can get a console. That's the whole reason the community has been yelling about a PC port for ages now.
@@TheNeonArcade Right, you just mentioned BB at the end of the video. I hadn't finished it at the point of writing. Sorry about jumping down your throat. :D
I'll be honest ive always hated the Git Gud community even as a souls fan. If anything when i met the git gud people it almost turned me away from Dark souls entirely. It doesnt help to bring in new people when your first thought is. Oh theyre mad at this game? Bully them into submission. Now i do believe in try til you do but im not gonna meme on ya. Nowadays what i hate about the souls community is when they go "souls games provide vast amounts of build opportunitys to let the player make who they want and play how they want which is really cool :)" "Okay im gonna do magic or faith" "BAHAHAHA FRICKIN LOSER!!!"
i am a hardcore souls fan since 2015 when bloodborne came out, and i am thrilled that you are getting into this genre. i played most of the souls games besides demon souls and the armored core series, and in my opinion bloodborne takes the cake for me, especially bloodborne DLC has one of the hardest and most rewards bosses to date, i still get goosebumps when i think about these bosses almost 10 years ago, which is insane.
im playing them too :D! its so awesome with the lore ! i first got into souls with armored core 6 then going into ds 1,2,3 :D on to elden ring today literally its going to be so epic
I enjoyed Elden Ring a lot with friends, found it way too difficult for me and I prefer the linear aspect of Dark Souls overall. Sekiro I thought was just OK but had some really fun spots, I didn't like having to parry everything.
