BBC One had two big network movie premieres for Christmas 1996 - Jurassic Park for Christmas Day and Free Willy for Boxing Day. I think Jurassic Park was unsuitable for Christmas Day, it should have swapped with Free Willy.

Time on the clock: 11:58 pm. Disappointed at the lack of a PIF, and one of the quickest jumps from the end of a programme, straight to the weather and close. Also, no trailer for an upcoming programme.
