We have the last model of the 4ever. Wanted to get a second seat for my husbands car. Love this seat and the additional features added from the last model.

This seat is not installed correctly. This is very unsafe for your child. You never use both latch system and seat belt. You do not check for movement like that. You need to read your manual. If people follow this video you could case serious damage to someone’s kid or even death.
So its either or? My son is 5. I installed it with the tether, latch and seat belt. Also he hasn't sat in it yet so I want to get it right before he does. Thank you.
@@kenyaherndon1657 Sorry I this went to my junk mail. I’m sure you found the answer by now but yes you only use one, seat belt or latch system. The latch system has weight limits so you probably need to be using the seat belt and the top tether only.
Do NOT use both the latch system and seat belt path as the carseat is not crash tested with both and you MUST use the top tether. Please re read the instructions and do research if the seat is not correctly installed a kid can be harmed more than they can without a carseat. The car seat should NOT move from front to back or side to side more than 1 inch shaking from the belt path area. THIS CARSEAT IS NOT FIT FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF TWO. KIDS UNDER THE AGE OF 2 OR UNDER 22 POUNDS MUST REAR FACE. I hope this will help you fix your child restraint system and this is not to offend you in any way (:
