Can you run me thru how to get the 3 point to hold position on these things? I have the same setup and can't get it to do anything but full-up and float - which means the plow digs to the center of the earth.
She turns real nice. It’s nice when the old veterans can still come out to do a days work. We have an AC WD but she’s pretty used up and worn out. We could do the work but the parts (if you can get em) would cost more than the whole tractor is worth. I’m glad yours is in good shape. Best wishes. 🤠👍👀✅
Question for you I have a 52 ca and just put a 3 point conversion on it. Is the hydraulics just to lift and uses the implements weight to go down? What setting do you run yours on?( drawbar, hold position, delayed)
Hey, a farmers self unloading firewood trailer. Had a case dealer very nearby ( 1mi) that finally got rid of most of the old trade-in spreaders that way. Think yours is the first I've seen working. The other RU-vidrs I've seen using one took floor chain out too. Love the old ih
Got me a blade like that for my WD. I don't have the extension like yours has. I've updated my WD with the snap coupler hitch compared to the old pin hitch.
The John deere 40 wasn’t the first self propelled combine John deere made, it was designed for the guy going from a pull type to a self propelled but doesn’t have the acreage for a bigger machine
@@mymichiganfarmlife7180 I have dealer manuals on the tractor and the plow. I have 3 ca’s. Extra plows too. So if you have any questions or anything like that just let me know
Hi, are you going to have the rest of putting your wife front on you CA? I'm putting a wide front on my CA and every bit of information I can get would be appreciated
Unfortunately I never ended up making a follow up go that, but I can definitely try to answer any questions you may have! It was definitely a learning experience
I bet there is a lot of color in the fall at your farm and future home site. That redneck irrigator got the job done. That is a beautiful farm, steers, chickens, a rabbit and i thought i saw a garden near where you bushhogged on another video. Great job.
Hi Calvin, just found your channel and found out some useful info! I have a JD 50 that has never had the PTO shield on, after watching the installation of yours and where that flapper goes, I’ll be bolting it on now. Love to hear about that JD combine I caught a glimpse of.
I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy it. I do not always have as much time as I would like to pick out music unfortunately. I hope you will try again on the next one!
Nope all I did was top of the fuel and add a little oil and coolant. It pretty much only gets used to trim the two pastures so it gets pretty light wear and tear.
Yes I would have preferred a 3 point brush hog, but the allis chalmers I want to mainly use it on does not have 3 point hook up. Should work good enough for what I need
In regards to your muffler, I found my little Allis B originally would've came with an under hood muffler. So I put one on from Steiners. Works pretty good, but a bit more exhaust coming back at ya. Oh well, it's always something. Really enjoying your channel.
Nice! I've never seen an under the hood one actually on a tractor like that, but I seen them on steiners. And thank you, I'm glad you are enjoying the channel! I appreciate it!
I have a 50+ yr old 1020 JD that has not been started in over 2 years. Just went out and tried it , and it fired right up. I was worried about bad gas, but I think I put staybill in it 2 yrs ago . Going to get fresh fuel and hook up the brush hog
I just got my grandfather 57 ca and am trying to find info on those front cylinders. They need repacked and I am not able to find anything for them. Would you be able to point me in the right direction. Any advise would be appreciated.
I had trouble with that as well. When I restores this loader I was sure the cylinders would need to be redone. I did some looking online but wasn't able to find a lot. Thankfully my cylinders ended up not leaking. I did talk with some other ca owners who said that the correct seals can be purchased through agco. Hope that helps

It's not technically a farm show, a local church near us always does a summer festival and they have an antique car and tractor show. Always a fun time!
Thanks for the tour. Just discovered you last week. Here’s wishing you continued growth and success. Btw, what county are you farming? I am a fellow Michigander
Great plowing. Tractor sound great. But seems awfully hard to start. Hehe. Just kidding. Fuel injection junk nowadays doesn’t start as good as that does.
That engine sounds great! I have a Farmall M, a 100 about the size of yours and a IH 274 diesel. I always heard AC's had strong engines and great governors! Good video...from N.C.
