Have you tried printing it at max speed 600mm/s , did you find it effected the quality of the print significantly or it still functioned well doing so? Thank you
You could do it without a multi-color printer, but you would need to know the layers where the filament changes so you do a swap. How many swaps you have to do depends on the model.
How much do the filament lines affect the painting? Especially for the minis, I'd worry that after applying a wash, it would just highlight the lines? ~without any post processing (I don't have experience printing this small scale, only larger things as prototypes for work, and am thinking to get an A1 mini for printing minatures)
I want to buy one, but I worried too much about the airs which put her in? If I put it in my room and adapt a suitable job for it to complete the printing of the model
I own both and I disagree. The A1 is nice and I will say the p1 is better than the AD5 and the price reflects that. my A1 is my personal for fun printer (colors am I right) but I just bought 2 more ad5s for my farm. They are less user friendly but not that bad.
I printed PLA+Wood on the 5M, with 0.4, but everytime it comes out like rubber! super flexible using 185-195 for the printing and 60-80 bed. temp. What do you think?
Just now getting into 3D printing myself and I spent quite some time on youtube trying to figure out what is a good starter printer to really figure out if I actually want to pursue this hobby in the first place. Your video was VERY helpful and I can't thank you enough for putting out an informative video like this 👍
It certainly dampens the noise. It's still not what I would consider to be quiet. But it's sort of negated because you have to leave the top door off or prop it open when printing PLA.
Thank you for this video. I’m getting my new P1S this week and have ordered PETG-HF for the first time. I’ve never worked with any PETG before at all, so I appreciate the heads up on this!
This video convinced me to purchase the Bambu Lab A1. Maybe I missed it, but can you tell me which Filament you've been using for each of the prints? Especially the Wonder Woman Statue
I've had an ender 3 pro for like 8 years and was blown away at the progress achieved in videos for the Bambu lab A1. Mine should arrive this week sometime. I've got a sonic 4k mini that may start collecting a lot more dust because FDM has already come so far.
I think a very important question should be...... why does the bed leveling go out of wack for every print.............what is happening?.....what would happen if the springs were removed under the bed and solid spacers substituted for them,.......then the leveling can be set with small increments of thin washers to get it set.......if the setting still varies then it's in the Z axis and that is the area that must be addressed once and for all.......I personally think that there is some variation in the Y axis or cross beam and it is moving out of level each time.
I have tried several of the PETG-HF colors. Red and Black seems to have some quality issues (even when dried). Interestingly White PETG-HF was flawless for a 21hr print (not a single issue and super clean end result). Afterwards Two 15 hour prints subsequently printed flawlessly with the White. (didn't have any issues running the whole role) I did have to tune flow ratio and temps but the Red and Black still perform subpar. I will be burning through Blue tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how that goes. Personally, I think I will use other brands for PETG. That said, Bambu PLA has been excellent. (aside from silk - especially silver... It is pretty but extremely brittle and not good for anything semi fragile). I have had great results with the PLA Basic, Glow, and Galaxy.
