I got used to having it on my One X to protect the tripod mount from cracking so got it on the X4 too. I think this newer one has a better build though so it may not be needed, but a camera cage offers a lot more mounting option and I like this one provides a gopro style mounting option wheen needed...but it does add weight which I personally don't mind.

I just purchased the ProFX22 Version 3 w/USB. *In fact, it was just delivered by FedEx (from Sweetwater) while I was writing this comment!* In the past, (due to the steep price increase for any reputably-branded mixer over 12-channels) if I ran out of available inputs on my mixer, I would just purchase another one with a few more channels. I went from using an Alesis 4-channel mixer to using a Samson 12-channel mixer, thinking "surely, 12-channels will be enough, right!?" Then when I eventually needed more inputs, instead of purchasing a bigger one, I would just run the 12 and the 4 in-line with each other. It wasn't the best solution, but it got me by. Now, I need more than 16 channels... but I don't want to run 3 mixers all hooked to each other... And I don't want to run (2) 12-channel mixers together either. I figured, I should do it the right way, bite the bullet and finally cough up the cash for a big one. This will be my first Mackie mixer and from what I have heard/read, the company has a decent reputation for making solid boards. I love getting new gear as much as the next noodler/amateur musician, but I'm on a fixed-income so I try to do my research and get the most bang for my buck. I hope the new ProFX22 v3 lives-up to my expectations. Like it or not, it will be quite awhile before I am able to gather enough cash to replace it. I think this "tear-down" video features a previous version, but I am almost certain that; at some point I will be carefully referring to it - in an attempt to clean or maintain mine, hoping to get as much life/use out of it as possible. I got one of those recently to attach to the front of a 5.11 backpack that I have. That way I can put things that are more on the EDC side in it, with my work stuff in the backpack, and I can detach the SLB05. The little MOLLE attachment things are neat, but I picked up a set of MOLLE Sticks for a quicker and more stable connection. I wish the bag were just a little larger, maybe 3L instead of 2. Maybe a bit deeper... I'd like that a lot.
yeah, I kinda use mine as a secondary pouch inside larger bag... just too small as a daily edc for me, but at least there's an option to use as one when needed.

For me this is a scam place. Bukod sa mas mataas ang fees nila kesa pag dumiretso ka sa mismong LTO district office, andami pa nilang eche bureche tungkol sa online renewal. Dapat daw bago na ang resibo mo hindi luma. Dapat daw may LTO portal account ka. Tapos inexplain ko sakanila na may LTO portal account ako, ang sagot naman nila down daw ang system. Oo mabilis ang emission testing dito at tsaka insurance. Pero baka ka makapasok sa mismong LTO extension office, andaming haharang sayo. Yung mga tauhan ng insurance company sa second floor, yun ang malakas mangharang. Ang daming sasabihin na dapat daw nga bago ang resibo mo (new system) at tsaka hindi daw ieentertain ng LTO yung papel mo etc. Yung kulang na lang sabihin na PAHINGI NG LAGAY. I tried to renew my vehicle registration here 2 times (because I have 2 vehicles). The first instance was in Feb 2023. So ayun na nga, nagbayad ng emission, nagbayad ng insurance. Pagdating sa LTO, eto na nga si chubby ate girl from the insurance dept at nakikialam sa papeles ko. Mag sign in daw muna sa LTO portal. So ayun ginawa ko naman. Nakakapagtaka na nirerequire nila yan pero sa main LTO offices hindi hahahaha. Pero sige lang. Pagdating sa luob, inencode na nung LTO officer yung data ng renewal ko. SOBRANG MAHAL NG CHARGE! Kase yung penalty ko for late renewal ginawa nilang 2 years late penalty, kahit less than 1 month lang naman ako late. Buti tinanong ko muna bago ako nagbayad via GCASH. Ayun, inamin nilang mali ang computation nila, kaso daw naka-input na daw sa system hindi na mababago. Nakakatawa kayo TQM! So during that first instance ng pagpaparenew ko sa TQM, sa LTO San Juan ko na lang tinapos yung transaction. At least tama yung computation doon at mas smooth pa ang transaction kesa sa TQM. Eto na nga, Sep 2023, nagpa-renew na naman ako ng 2nd vehicle ko. Di na ko natuto, sa TQM na naman ako pumunta (the scam place). Mabilis emission testing and insurance. Pag papunta na sa LTO renewal, eto na naman si ATE GIRL NA CHUBBY from the insurance dept, nagmamarunong na naman. Hinarang na naman ako. Chineck yung papel ko. Sabi nia "LUMA ANG LATEST NA O.R. MO SIR" hindi yan ipprocess sa luob. sabi ko, "huh"? legitimate na resibo na issue ng LTO last year". Ang sagot nia lang "dapat kasi bagong resibo ka na. dapat naka LTO portal ka na". Ang sagot ko "may LTO portal na ako ate". Ang sagot niya lang "ay down ang system ng LTO ngayon hindi rin yan mpprocess". Kakaharang niya saken inabot na ko ng 4 PM cutoff nila. Friday yun. Siguro tinatamad na sila kaya kunware down ang system at baka sakali maka-kikil sila saken, nagpaparinig na puiro bawal bawal bawal para offeran ko ng lagay. Haii Pilipinas. Nakakahiya kayo TQM! The following Monday, tumawag ako sa TQM and I requested na makausap yung LTO officer in charge duon sa extension office na yun. inexplain ko yung nangyari last Friday. Aba ang yabang. Hindi ako halos pinagsasalita sa phone. Napakataas ng tingin sa sarili! Tapos wala naman naitulong kahit kaunti. Pumunta na lang daw ako at doon mag explain. Sabi ko, "bago ako pumunta, bigyan mo muna ng malinaw na sagot mga tanong ko, baka mamaya masayang na naman pagpunta ko". Biglang sagot niya "marami ho kame ginagawa, para mas mabilis dito ka na mag explain". Grabe yung asal dibah? Kaya wag kayo magpapa-scam sa lugar na toh. Kunware mabilis yung emission at insurance, pero dun ka babagal sa mismong purpose ng visit mo. Yung mismong renewal. Dun sila babagal. At madaming mangyayari na aberya. better go to a LEGITIMATE LTO OFFICE, hindi sa isang PMVIC kagaya ng TQM na maraming galawang hustler. If I can give this place 0 star review, I would do it. Ipagkakalat ko rin sa friends ko na umiwas sa lugar na toh. Sobrang bad experience. Extremely traumatic experience ang dinanas ko sa inyo for 2 times na. NEVER AGAIN! Ikaw na nagbabasa, umiwas ka na sa lugar na ito. Wag na wag ka magpaparenew dito. Irereklamo ko na rin itong PMVIC na ito sa citizen's hotline ng Malacanang kase abusado sila.
