Raccoons get mine everytime.I live on a creek where deepest part is maybe 2' deep.After a good rain the 2' goes to 4'.I may try this after the next good rain.So simple and costs the gallon of milk lol.

Funny story I forgot my net went to marina to get one the small ones and big ones I got the big one and one of the locals said what you need a net that big for? I said I catch big fish they got a big kick out of it
