The Knoxville Christian Youth Bands (KCYB) is a Christian-centered band program available for home school, private school, and public school students, fifth grade through twelfth grade, who are interested in an outstanding instrumental music experience. The program includes four principle band opportunities: Beginning Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Band, with additional ensemble opportunities. As defined in IRS Publication 557, KCYB is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, managed and operated by an entirely volunteer Board of Directors. You know what stuck out to me even with the style not being right. The trumpet player on the solo has the most beautiful tone. Even though he played too legit a tone like that will take you somewhere. I bet he made all state where he lives.
An overall good performance, don't know if it was recording but a few balance issues. Some wrong notes in the second half, trombones were playing very wrong, make sure low brass hit their pitch the first time
Fairly decent attempt at the song, clarinets a bit off tune, entrances for low brass and trumpets could use a lot of work, band balence needs improvement, they need to work on the tempo a fair ammoumt. Other than that decent performance~CMS Honors Band
