Always loved these Country bands from the 80s & 90s. I toured with a number of well-known regional southeast Rock club bands in the early 80s playing guitar, keyboards & singing. I'd had enough of the road by 1985 & quit, went back home & discovered CMT on my TV my 1st week off the road & found all this great Country music for the 1st time. It almost made me want to pack up & head to Nashville as I wanted to be in a band like Diamond Rio, Restless Heart, Desert Rose, Blackhawk, Highway 101, or backup artists like Garth Brooks, Kathy Mattea, Clint Black, etc, and I wrote a number of songs like this back then, but I just couldn't see myself being on the road anymore. I made a decision to settle down & be a homebody for the rest of my life instead. I've had a good comfortable life & still play every weekend here in my hometown in Alabama. I don't regret my decision, but I sure wonder what might have happened if I had followed my passion.
Fucking KILLER show! I was floor level, 2nd row of tables, dead-center. I'd heard a lot about Anthony Gomes but this was my first time to see him and WOW did he and the band kick some Houston ASS !!!!! Where has he been hiding all these years? Dude should be filling bigger venues like the House of Blues.
It’s rare to hear a cover as good or better than the original. I love the RCS ‘s. Seen them twice so far. Best band I’ve heard in decades. God bless them.

run, don’t walk to see Matt Andersen. amazing guitar playing, amazing voice, funny - extremely talented - definitely a do not miss show. 👏👏👏 perhaps the best acoustic guitar playing and singing I’ve ever seen -talent with a big heart.

God damn right!! This country still runs on the lowly blue collar worker. If it wasn't for us, the politicians wouldn't be able to wage war and make the military industrial complex any money.
