Make a fancy 1851 Navy and Pietta still stamps the Gettysburg address on the barrel in plain view. If Pietta would change that they'd take 25% the Uberti market from them. That and the way the hammer is knurled.
@@ronrobertson59 absolutely right, those little details can make or break sales records I’m sure, aside from that this gun shoots awesome, it’s one of the most accurate ones in my collection
@@DeucesWildRC I been reading complaints about the writing on the barrel the hammer knurling and the Pietta tail on their 1851 Navy for 40 yrs. The people at Pietta can't take a hint.
I'm waiting for my Radian. I'm a little frustrated that the balance lead goes into the LED lights, so I cant use my buzzer. That forces me to buy Spectrum batteries.
Hello my friend? Do you know how much is diameter of flexshaft? Inner part and outer part? Is it 4mm and outer part (on the prop), 4.76mm? Od 3.18 and 4.76? I have the same boat and my flexshaft now rotate improperly with angulation? Which flexshaft is comaptible with stock one? Thank you Thank you!
Very nice guns. I dont know if replicas are like originals in that the 51/61 navys have the same size chambers as the 62 pocket navy/pocket police. Even though the 51/61 navy have a longer cylinder. The chambers have the same Volume.
The chambers on both seem to be the same, the .375 round balls aren’t tight enough, my 51 Navy is a pietta and the .375 works fine in it, I haven’t compared the bore size diff if any, but the chamber size is definitely not the same from Uberti to Pietta
Bought a couple hundred remington #10's from cabelas. The only thing I dislike about tripple 7 is that it does tend to gum up my revolvers. I can shoot pyrodex untill I get tired, but triple 7 will only go 5 to 7 cylinders before the gun gets tight...guess it's because it's the sugar base in 777 instead of Sulphur in pyrodex and BP....QUESTION....Do you think the 62 would accurate enough to use as a field gun instead of a .22 rimfire...My 44 and 36 are just to heavyto trapse thru the woods with.
I have no clue why this is the first time I'm watching this video and it's been over a year. Thank you for the shout out brother and I love my 43 PPQ. I hope y'all are loving y'all's too!
Just had mine do the same thing last night, it's quite surprising when it's totally dark. Thanks for the tip, I'll use it. Hopefully the new one has been upgraded to be stronger too. 👍🏻🛬🛩️
Hi pal , sorry to bother you , i know its an old video but i have the version 1 Losi baja rey king shocks and i heard you mention the RCAWD fully made up aluminium full rear axle , it looks a slightly different shape to my plastic original and im wondering will it fit ?? Any help would be appreciated, cheers
I didn’t notice any difference, other than the aluminum axle is tougher and won’t crack, the Baja Rey is a trophy truck and not really meant for bashing and jumping, it is however quite fast and handles great when cornering in and out of turns
Great video, I wouldn't have made a good in cockpit fighter pilot, I found myself swaying in my chair with the rolls and pitches. By the way, that area kind of looks like east of Colorado Springs.
It’s my friend Brads plane, he’s good at painting and detailing warbirds and jets, bringing them up to standards with extra scale details, I e moved from Colorado since this video and now live in Louisiana. I’m sure whatever paint he used was either water based or foam friendly
Update: I haven't got to chronograph the 230 grain lead .454 bullets from hunter supply but I managed to put a heel on the bottom so it fits nicely. I can get about 20 grains of 777 behind it and the recoil is heavy. I'm starting to run into problems with the ratchet teeth and having to keep filing them back to keep the correct timing. I am having really bad end shake and trying to figure out how to get a shim or some kind of buffer inside the back of the cylinder to stop the jackhammering effect. Any ideas lol
All I can say is take the sharp edge off the ratchet with a file, give it a slightly rounded edge, it should take longer for a burr to grow before the timing is affected, you can also play around with lighter projectile to reduce recoil jack hammering affect as well
It’s weird that this one started off having 4 clicks but after smoothing the action up it’s now only 3 clicks (who knows) at least my pair of 1873 colts have a full 4 clicks on them, either way it doesn’t really matter much to me, they shoot nicely and look great doing it, thanks for commenting! Stay well and God bless
The same thing starting to happen to my cattleman. Which part of the hand did you polish down? I ended up filing back the ratchet teeth a tad bit. It worked as well for timing. Thanks, Drew B
Hey thanks for commenting, I filed the burrs off the ratchet first then a little at a time I filed the top of the hand where it engages the ratchet, my revolver took about a dozen times to get it perfect, all this was a result of the jack hammering effect that happens when each chamber detonates, it pushes the cylinder back against the recoil shield and flattens out the ratchet thus creating burrs and lengthening the ratchet and that messes up the timing, you can file one or the other, I did both, my mindset was if I remove and slightly round the ratchet then file the hand down it would not only correct the timing but also prevent any future burrs from growing, if I had stuck with 25 grain loads or less it would’ve taken longer before the timing became an issue, I was shooting 30 and 35 grain loads at the time so the heavier detonations I believe is what caused the issue to begin with, or perhaps the steel is just a bit soft, either way now that I’ve fixed that issue I pretty much stick with 30 grain loads now and she purrs along fine now
@@DeucesWildRC Thanks for the detailed reply. I have been using 25 grain loads with a 204 grain bullet from hunters supply and 20 grain load with a 230 grain bullet from hunters supply as well. Both in .454 I did have to create a "heel" on the bullet. It has a good kick and very accurate. I have not used the chronograph yet. But I will let you know how it turns out with the two different lead projectiles from hunters supply.
Hey my friend, I have seen your videos which are really awesome and very interesting. It’s a Bob Seager song “ accompany me” and this is an F-15 Eagle not the F-16 Falcon, it’s also got an Xfly fan I swapped the original edf out, this fan is much quieter and more powerful and has the same flight time/power consumption as the original motor without any mods required
Awesome video, great flying and very sorry for your loss. Life is to short and at our age we need to live it to the fullest and take care of ourselves. Next month I have to have an Angioplasty my heart isn't working like it should. Take care Mike.
I haven’t gauged it yet but they both shoot nice, I know there’s been a long controversy on cylinder gap and ballistic performance but I’ve also seen those theories tested on the chrono and it was so minimal it was insignificant, in a nutshell o wouldn’t worry to much about it in terms of ballistics/fps
Mike, so sorry for your loss. Last year was rough for me as well. We at that age my friend. Live today because tomorrow is not promised. God be with you in your time of sorrow.❤🙏 P.S. Love that T28. I fly mine on 4s as well. 👊
Hey Mike, first RIP Fernando, thoughts and Prayers 🙏 to the family and you Mike! Great tribute flight indeed! Sweet takeoffs, maneuvers and landing! Excellent video as always Mike! Thumbs up and best regards!
Actually black powder is easier to clean, because all you need is water and not solvent. As long as you oil up your cap and ball pistol with wd-40 liberally including spraying into the trigger gap and all other places where the oil can flow. The cool thing about wd-40 is, it will evaporate but leave a protective coating.
My first thought would be No, because the light kits for the umx planes and 600mm Ultrix all use a control board, the plug ins are different, however if you had an adapter for the light controller you possibly could, if you want to add lights to a larger plane you can buy led light strips plus the controller on Amazon, I e used those on my bigger planes
Just saw your FMS video, Thanks for the video. Do you have any idea how to fix/change the lock tooth which lock the wings to the fuselage. The tooth of my glider is broken !
