This was the magic of Day’s super couples in the 80’s , romance off the charts , super writing, love scenes, ❤️ heartfelt writing , I wish the writers would watch this and fix the writing . I miss those times. You have captured this so beautifully. .

Omg this is how I feel about John and Marlena. I have always loved them just the chemistry they have . So many favorite storylines ,the Affair . All the times they’re apart they find their way back to each other. I always wanted to meet them in person . I admire Deidre and a Drake what a beautiful couple. The saddest day will be if they ever retire. Deidre should have had a daytime Emmy award . Days struck gold with them. John was so sexy , Deidre absolutely gorgeous.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Not Jarlena or Bope, Stayla is unique and deep forever, like the other's, and yet all its own. Kayla ( my namesake literally) ever hopeful and yet pragmatic, so intelligent and full of light and life. Steve however, with his scars mental and physical, his stint as Stephano did some major damage to his psyche. He never thought he was good enough for Kayla.
I could never see Sammy with anyone else except Lucas!!! I don't care how many times they change who Sammy is with it will always be Lucas for me!!! Allison and Bryan had a very real and deep connection together on and off screen. I thought they made the show myself

How could’ve the writers to this it broke our hearts along with Marlena. I didn’t like John’ look on his face when Marlena said, she was sure going to try. He just seemed smug just my take on it.
In the 90's they were a couple. During the 2012/2013 storyline, if I recall correctly, Kristen stopped it from happening. He was ready to follow his (stupid) plan 'til the end and sleep with her tho.
Just now finishing this series for the first time. Don’t know how it escaped me when it was first on tv. Seasons 7 and 8 have been heart wrenching. I know it’s just a show but couldn’t they have made a sweet ending for these two characters? I mean the world is sad and hard…can’t we have a bit of happiness and closure on our tv screens for once!
There never will be another couple on Days that will equal them as far as chemistry and the love scenes . The love shines that they have for one another. Great actors and I’m sure it helps if you truly like the person you’re with. ❤

The writers should know the history of J&M best super couple ever on days ! How could you have John betray Marlena like that with Kristen ? It was heartbreaking I just seen the montages I wasn’t watching days at that time I had lost my husband and was grieving . I just know the history of days and J& M the chemistry between them is magical please don’t split them up again.
