Hello, I'm trying to repair power supply of my minisport. I've recapped condenser, old smd components leaked. But don't work. 6v are for red or yellow wire? Kindest regards
It's been a while since I worked on it so I can't remember exactly which wire is which. However you should be getting 6V (from the battery) and 9V (if the power adapter is plugged in). Make sure you have a working battery. Test the leads. Even if your power adapter is good and supplying 9V the laptop will not run without the 6V from the battery.

Clearly finding a battery in good condition on a laptop over 30 years old is difficult, in fact I was willing to use an external power supply that can act as a 6V power supply. First, however, I need to check other components of the internal power supply. The SMD capacitors caused serious damage with the loss of acid, including the detachment of an inductance (at least I think, it disintegrated when I opened the computer). Another question: does the motherboard have to be housed in the case, or could it work even if removed? I would think that the lack of connectivity of the mass derives from the lack of contact with the underlying metal panel or the other iron elements of the structure. Thank you very much.
Good question. It does load it's own version of DOS after the driver is successfully executed. Like having two computers. I wonder if there is a way to have it load a different OS. I doubt it. Even if you could it likely won't be compatible.
Agreed, it sounded like a diesel engine was revved up outside his window and really needs a pop filter. Weird thing is it looks like a phone camera, I've never heard audio that bad come from one, I wonder if he was using a bluetooth headset, or something like that could be used to help the audio.
@@albertcurtis1201 So, audio quality isn't important? Clarity of sounds and speech don't matter? People listen as well as watch, so if things are difficult to hear, incoherent or even just plain annoying, people will be put off coming back again. Successful media channels make it easy for people to watch and listen to the content, not struggle.
