We did see the King Boo pack at our local store. We feel it's a bit pricy for what you get, really. A Luigi, a small Boo and a Big King Boo which is the same size at the Paladone light Boo or the plush toy. We're waiting for it to drop a bit in price before picking that up. On a side note, we also picked up the end level playset
We'd like to, but it is a lot more difficult to do. The short version is that while Japanese people do not mind playing a challenge, once the camera comes out, they get a lot more hesitant. especially when the machine takes a photo of the player to use in-game (and most japanese people aren't too interested in getting photos taken without a lot of preparation)
While it is larger than an M size, the character itself is supposed to be smaller in size than a regular Mario. Also, why Ca$h wanted the small backpack version since he did not want it to be equal in size (With a new company making them, the measurements could have been off) In the same box I got the new Korok seed plushes with backpacks but eve at M that is really tiny
@@CDNintendo Oh yeah. I get why it’s small. It’s supposed to depict the toy in the games. Just wish the L was like 50cm. I just love this design model. Would’ve been a great display piece or hug pillow. 😆
@@CDNintendo omg no im sorry brotha i want one so bad i have looked and looked it must have been a limited edition cuz i cant find out much of nothing on it
@@Linkys_Adventurewell it was exclusive to GameStop and their line of merchandise ThinkGeek. And things there have a limited run. You might be able to find one on ebay
@@CDNintendo i have searched and searched and searched only one I can find is overseas and you got to purchase it through a website that is and another language and I don't understand the language
They've made a comeback in recent years. They're made by Jakks Pacific and were re-released with the New Mario Movie this year. I've seen them in toy stores in Japan and Europe and I've heard they're in stores like Target in the US too
They are rather old now, too. The stores had a very hard time getting rid of them. You can find them on Amazon and eBay, but they command a hefty price now in addition to the shipping because of the extra weight.
The Builder Mario was quite old as it was released several years ago. This was a new combo pack released earlier this year. Builder Mario is available from Amazon as a stand alone and Luigi is being released as a stand alone later this year too. We managed to find this in Germany in GameStop.
Yeah they are rally cool. The pokey that could be disassembled was a surprise to me. Having inspected the Lugi a bit more the only really difference on him is the paint they used on him.
I have this as well as the Bandai SH Figuarts Bowser figure. That figure is the same height as Mario in the same line. It’s a bit disappointing. Just wish it’s almost the same size as this Bowser here. Would’ve been perfect. Because the Figuarts Bowser is quite detailed compared to the Jakks.
Indeed, I have seen them in Japan and I do pick up some of the packs when I find them at second hand shops. And they're more detailed figures. We do love Jacks because the variety is so large and the other ones don't really get any new additions.
@@CDNintendo Yes, it’s a shame they discontinued the SH Figuarts line. I think they’re the most detailed Mario mini figures ever. I would’ve love for them to make more. Perhaps a Princess Peach or other Nintendo characters like DK, Metroid, Zelda, etc.
