Tournament Mode not opening on Android. Tournament Tab is Black. Handy Man Games keeps feeding me Bull Shit and BuggyBear doesn't even respond! If I have to download a hack to unlock the rest of the cars and skins from the Tournament store then so be it. That's on Them! Screw'em!
i just lost about 12 day's of accomplishment. it's mostly my fault, though. i'm just gonna plow through it & get back what i lost. Can't help you with the tournament on Android :-/
I'm on windows 10, this solution didn't work for me. What I did: Control Panel -> Fonts -> Adjust ClearType Text (On left Corner Option). Then I just tap the next button to complete 5 steps. My font is back to how it was. & I think it totally makes sense, at least for windows 10. If it works for someone else, plz let me know so thay I can submit this issue in Microsoft.
Thanks you Elden, that worked for me. Why it happened seems to be inexplicable to Microsoft, they don't even try but your quick fix did the trick. Thanks you indeed :) Works on Windows 10, which is no doubt the root of the cause.
Due to a removal of the Audiosurf software I ' ve lost my Arial Regular font. Went to a "healthy" Win7, copied on a stick the Arial font set (from "Fonts" folder) and pasted it in my PC (in the "Fonts" folder). Re-install of Arial went automatically and....voila.
Eldon: THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! I HAD this problem with my Arial font for the past three YEARS and gave up on finding a fix that worked. That was until I saw your video that you took your time & generosity to help others (myself included!) AMAZINGLY SIMPLE & 100% EFFECTIVE! (And, YES, I am YELLING in happiness!) Even my son who can fix most anything computer related, was stumped after trying about five or six other things! THANK YOU & the author of that site SO much!
I came across this issue either occurred after deleting various programs that I no longer used, utilizing CCleaner, or something that Malwarebytes picked up on. I came across your video. I'm uploading the link since I didn't find it in your description and I couldn't click on it in your video. writeyouare.wordpress.com/2010/09/25/windows-7-fix-fonts-bold-italics/ While your video was very helpful, it was the actual instructions in the link that corrected my issue. The article states that if Arial is already installed, then you should look at one of the other main fonts: Georgia.ttf, Times.ttf, Verdana.ttf For me, the solution came from reinstalling Georgia and Verdana, which didn't state they were already installed. Thank you, and a thumbs up!
Deborah DessasoI know this reply comes nine months late, but if you still have this issue, read on! Did you try the following? Delete the Arial font from your computer then reboot. Next, go to START and enter the letter of your hard drive (usually, it's C)...If unsure, click on MY COMPUTER and check. Once you know the letter of your hard drive (I'll presume it's C for this example) enter the following in the command space after you click on START (You may copy/paste the following): c:\windows\fonts\arial.ttf Make SURE you used backslashes but did NOT place a backslash between arial and the dot (arial\.ttf is wrong.) Next, press ENTER, wait a moment until the Arial fonts are shown, and click on INSTALL. If that doesn't work and you have a Windows operating system (something I presumed all along!), I give up! Either avoid Arial or download a font package that includes Arial.
thanks for helping out! done!! I agree when you say that italics is cute for a few minutes, & then it completely drove me nuts! simple instructions - awesome!
Great slideshow! I wish it went a little slower. (And I also wish I understood the Hebrew.) Right now I'm making plans to go to Israel for my son's wedding in late August. Meanwhile, how are you doing, Al?? I hope you're doing real well!! All the best, -Frank
