How long have you had the car? I'm gonna keep my car for another year for another years ncb (for the insurance to drop a bit) then fairly sure I'll get one of these next year. Was considering an Audi A3 as well but this has a lot more power. Anyway, how's the reliability been with yours? And are there any known issues or whatever to look out for? I'll be buying a 60-80k mile car with my budget, so I wanna look out for any issue or make sure certain work's been done before I get it. Btw I usually cruise on the motorway at 75-85mph, what sort of fuel consumption can I expect like this?
I am wondering what are the differences between 123d gearbox and 120d standard E87 gearbox. Can you tell us what speed you have on this car at 2000 rpm, 2500 rpm and 3000 rpm? Thx.
+Lukas Allnoch I used a Spektrum Radio through the PPM input on the control board. Altitude was only about 70M and range was probably about 200-250M far. I fly line-of-sight, so you cannot fly any further since the quadcopter is too small.
On the Extreme One, not really. In theory you can fabricate your own landing gear. The Ex1 is a very easy to control quad for not being GPS assisted. So if you manage to make less than adequate landing gear, you should still not damage the gopro. I guess you always roll out a yoga mat if you are paranoid. But truthfully, I have since upgraded to the new gopro 4 black. And at ~500 dollars compared to the 130 for the quad, the risk is not worth it. But now the new gopro basic would be a good match. Or even the Mobius which is now popular. But if you look for stealth when trying for some aerial video, I don't think there is a better option than the Ex1. It is tiny, and probably the best thing is it is usually quiet. Its props spin fairly slow which makes a difference perceived noise.
The payload for this quad is only 100 grams. It is possible if you use an ultra micro camera and transmitter like the one horizon hobbies has mounted on the FPV vapor. RC Logger also sells a small kit which should fit on the Extreme One also. Check out their website.
This flight was without the plastic case. The case weighs ~75g more which is too much for the Extreme One quad. Total flying weight is 320g with payload! I quit flying with my gopro on this quad because it is too expensive to risk damaging it in a crash. The Extreme One is only 130 Euros! I now only fly my gopro with the plastic case, or with a quality multicopter. Although, the Extreme One would be fine with a Mobius cam. Good quality for less than 100 euro. But not with my $500 gopro4 anymore...
Habe selber nen 123d. Der nimmt im Schnitt 8 Liter. Dafür braucht man echt keinen Diesel zu fahren. Thirsty rough engine. Would never buy one again.
A CZ I do agree 100 percent. People are ignorant and stay on the fast lane without overtaking and alto I have had many times people changing lames quickly without even turning the indicator lights and almost killed me on the motorway
Und was heisst das nun genau Ecotune Maxitune? Leistung?
To the left of the Nav screen. Its a GPS that warns when close to photo speed traps. Works wonders. It is illegal but don't stupid and get caught. I actually use it for the speed reading also as I can't see the top of my speedo in my normal driving position(which is a legal use).
After 2010 BMW changed the turbos to stronger units so they are more capable. And removing the DPF opens up more power opportunity also. Mostly it keeps the EGT from going too high.
530Nm is the maximum the transmission can handle. For TUV I know a few people who walk me in and out with no problems. It is a pretty new BMW also. The truth is it is still well within EU regs for soot limits so TUV won't be able to tell anyway unless they took part of my car apart. So no problems.
