🗣️❤ Fov_desired 90 Viewmodel_fov 120 (or to taste) And if it sparks joy, should try a custom hud like ToonHud. Just keeps stuff more central Does make it less pretty tho (Theyre all click and drag install) Hope you enjoy TF2 :3
As a tf2 player who picked up overwatch for a bit, here's a few tips I figured you might like that OW doesn't teach as much: - Support your team when you're able to. Heal low teammates with your sandvich when you're full, extinguish teammates with milk/jarate/airblast, defend engi buildings as pyro with homewrecker + airblasts, etc. - Spies. As if an arrogant information thief that can turn invisible can get any more annoying. Make it a habit to look around you and "spycheck", or shoot teammates and possible hiding spots in case there's spies. Pyro is especially good at this, since the wide spread and afterburn of the flamethrower basically makes them a counter to spies. Don't forget to keep an eye out for suspicious players. Stuff like out of position classes (snipers in Frontline, flanking medics), teammates eyeing your medic and making a beeline for you, copies of you running around, etc. Make sure you communicate when you see a spy disguise (simply something like "sniper spy" will suffice). - experiment with your loadout and figure out what works best for you in whatever situation. Some weopons are direct upgrades to stock (Ubersaw, 3rd degree, southern hospitality, etc) while some are so bad you're better off not using them entirely (vita saw, warrior's spirit, pomson, red tape recorder), and some weopons let you play as a subclass (demoknight, trolldier, battle engi, etc). For example I've been playing soldier a bit recently and usually run liberty launcher or direct hit, buff banner, and escape plan, since I usually spam down large groups of enemies, support team pushes, and use the escape plan to fall back to a health kit when low. - some weopons cause some hate from other players, such as natasha, phlog, scorch shot, gas passer (ESPECIALLY in MVM), flying guillotine, gunslinger, vaccinator, as well as sniper and spy in general. You're still allowed to play these weopons, they just the ones manchildren whine the loudest about. - Usually when using teles slower/more important classes should use it first, since scouts/powerjack pyros can get to the Frontline quickly and snipers are usually in the backline. Also feel free to briefly switch to engi to upgrade/unsap teles. - F1 when a bot is being kicked. Chances are if a sniper joins, aims up, and spams music/immunity advertisements/edgy shit they're a bot. - watch videos on how to improve. I reccomend Uncle Dane, Solarlight, Soundsmith, laxypurple, Arrayseven, Fishstickonastick. - how to be funny: open tf2, choose heavy, press X then 5. - jokes aside accusing players of being spies or kill binding is peak comedy in this game. Honorable mention is to put your tele exit so your teammates walk out to their immediate death. - enjoy your time playing this game and HAVE FUN
i remember when i play whit my friend almost all days in 2021, now its dosnt runs in my pc but i still watching videos and the Champions :) really gud game
If bro successfully enters the TF2 sphere his channel witll blow up (unless the TF2 youtube community is truly dying, in which case, I hope new perspectives/experiences can breathe life into it)
If you ever encounter bots in casual, make sure to call a votekick on them by pressing escape and clicking on the red box with a tick on it. Then just call a vote on the bot. If too many bots join, you can always pick a community server
8:21 I've never seen this popup before. Maybe it's because you're a new player but damn that's interesting, too bad valve won't do shit with the answers.
You should try out some of the community gamemodes! They are EXTREMELY fun! They have gamemodes like: Versus Saxton Hale Zombie Escape Super Zombie Fortress Class Wars X1000 100 Player Servers Slender Fortress Ect. It's an AMAZING time, and I highly recommend playing them.
I recommend watching b4nny videos/streams, he’s the goat of competitive tf2 and does play in a lot of casual lobbies while being friendly, maybe u can see someone very good play the game and show u it’s potential!
3:51 technically saxton hale (a character for an alternative gamemode) has a voiceline which goes something like 'demoman? get ready for full version man' refering to himself, iirc
It's always so akward teaching new players that play mostly or only modern games tf2 or ther old valve games like left 4 dead 2 because of how clunky they are sometimes Glad you liked tf2!
@@CoolyCools Finally, someone who treats the bots appropriately. Don't get me wrong, they're hella annoying, but everybody always overexaggerates them.
If you plan on playing tf2 more often, I highly recommend looking up the youtuber "Aar" and watching his videos on tf2's default settings. The game has a low fov by default (70 default, max of 90) and the viewmodels take up a massive amount of space on the screen. Aars default settings videos detail why this could be a problem, and how to fix these settings.
