Do you want to start living your dream, especially in music?
After having to leave my sensible day job due to severe rheumatoid arthritis, I became a songwriter and started travelling the world, doing what I love and meeting amazing people. Here I share my music with you. On my channel you will find an inspiring story and also practical information to help you if you want to be a musician or are living with a chronic illness.
This comes in the form of new music, singing and songwriting tutorials and music business information. I also indulge my passion for English Literature (in which I hold 2 degrees) and history.

This lecture was fantastic! I am looking forward to your new course. It would be delightful to include some romantic-era Irish women writers as well. Thanks!
Charles Edward Stuart was an ambitious fool. He spoke little English, no Gaelic, and was himself half Polish. Initially he relied on Lord George Murray as his military advisor, which resulted in success. He later came increasingly dependent on the advice of his Quartermaster General, John O Sullivan , whos chose the ground on which the Jacobite ar.my was annihilated
I continue to visit Bangor every week, I don't live far so I get the train in. I am not old enough to remember the 50s and 60s but it is sad to see so many stores closed today.
I can sing but unfortunately I can only play drums other than that and they don't accompany each other amazingly lol. thinking of learning the guitar as I was a bit hopeless at the piano
Phil Collins? He said and played drums! Good luck with guitar. I do have a course on piano for singers because sometimes it's more sight reading than actually playing that people find difficulty in which case you might progress by learning to play with chords.
What frustrates me is the timings are off a lot in The Last Kingdom. Some are spot on but when Aethelflaed dies, Elswith is still alive, in reality, Elswith died 16 years before in 902, Aethelflaed died in 918. Mind you, Uhtred was actually based on a ruler of Bebbanburg in from 1006 to 1016.
Great footage Eve. Thankyou for posting. My parents knew Jim and Ivy well, (Douglas and Lily Bruce) Dad was a good photographer, it was his hobby. We have so many photos and films that he took of the Orangemen and family from those memorable times.
Not 100% but that load of BB guys at top of Main Street hill passing the old Ulster and Northern Banks a couple of them could be my late Dad and his brother who is still in Bangor. I remember Pickie Pool still being there up into my early teens. Unsure about when it stopped being used.
This is my absolute favorite Chris Isaak song. I love all the interesting versions which dot the Internet landscape ... including yours, now. Thanks for sharing.
Charles was ahead of his time's - he if not Murray new if the Rebles could reach London first he would be accepted but no Murray who hated him made sure that didn't happen - Hail Hail H R H C E S .
Whatever else Bonnie Prince Charlie was or was not . . . he was definitely not a military commander. Should have listened to Lord Murray at Culloden. Run away little Charlie . . . back to the French.
Enjoyed the footage as my wife and I now live in Canada, but lived in Bangor before emigrating. My wife lived in Beverley Hills overlooking the golf course. The house was visible as a landmark with its flat roof which was clearly shown in the video.
Thank you for shedding light on the actual life of Bonnie Prince Charlie and connecting your talk with Outlander, which I am finally getting to read and enjoying greatly.
