Picking this bike up for next season. I have been riding a 1995 KDX 200 for 10 years. It’s has taken me to places people dream about going on a dirt bike. Arguably one of the best woods bikes ever made. Kawasaki was stupid not building a new aged KDX. I have been researching the Beta 200rr for a couple of years and from what I hear it’s the KDX 200 Kawasaki never built. Great video and appreciate the knowledge. 👊🤙
Yea mate I raced a kdx200 in 2008 at the ISDE in Greece hahaha they were good bikes especially with a kx125 front end and ohlines rear shock. The beta 200 is great bike nice small frame I absolutely loved mine! Easy for hard enduro riding for me.
Hey mate love your videos. I also have a gas gas mc250 like yours it’s a 2022 model. Just wondering what are the mods you have done to it to customise to enduro riding? Do you run heavy fly wheel weight etc? Usually I ride more mx but getting into enduro now. Cheers
Hey mate cheers man 💪💪💪 I have only stuck a s3 hard enduro head on and fmf full system but I recently put the stock muffler on which has made it better of the bottom again on top of they head mod. Appart from that nothing else has been done. Just do those modes first see how you go. Would be better with fly wheel weight I reckon but I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary if your riding mx and enduros as well. I did these mods mainly for hard enduro riding
Ermm the main factor for me choosing the kawi is hydro clutch! But they are so hard to sell second hand. Good for purchasing but not resell for some reason. Otherwise both bikes are epic!
@@LosSquid Funny you mention that, had a 21 250x and it took forever to sell. Was an awesome bike, would buy again but may dabble in a 250fx we'll see haha Epic vids, keep it up!
I think the uncertainty of how an event is run and what to expect is a issue. This varies alot depending on organisers. I recall my first 2 man race we drove into the forest for so long I though we were lost then we had no idea how the pits worked. Once you know its easy.
Hahah yea some events are pretty far off the beaten tracks 😂😂 I know a lot of people don’t like to travel to far as well. I do 100000km per year in my truck for events so that’s understandable part of it. Also who do you follow GNCC, Forestlands or MNZ events it’s a lot to tag on to I see majority of people do Forestlands and gncc now which is epic! Forestlands is definitely my number 1 choice for organisation and tracks no one can beat Clark’s events.
Hey mate nope she’s open for regular riding you can ride these same tracks there is more apparently! I’ll have day 2 up next week which shows way more stuff in the trees. Just ring up The Farm and Mike will let ya know if they are open or not as the do run other events there.
