We don't want to say we're partnership experts - but when it comes to the AEC space... we kinda are.

Why cant i change the wall thickness in parts list. Civil 3d forces you to use the wall thickness it gives you depending on what pipe size. I just want to have a 23 x 14" horizontal elliptical pipe with 2.75" thickness but civil 3d only allows me to use a 4" wall thickness.
I have a quick question, I need to add power to a Mitsubishi outdoor unit which i know for a fact that it requires a 2 pole circuit, but when i power it with Revit, it gives it a 1pole circuit automatically, is there a way to manually change this? As well i tried but it wont' let me.
This could be useful for a value that is repeated a lot but perhaps an additional extra step for something that is less repeated. We currently use manual text for drawing numbers etc so while it may save some time to change the field, I can easily forsee someone asking where to change the field.
thanks a bunch, i have always had the issue of poor uninstall of autodesk software. this video is very informative, for the first time in my life reinstallation of civil 3d software is easy... all the best in your endeavours
If you can't illustrate the tool b/c the interior partitions are in a linked file, then why don't you just open the file with the interior partitions?...waste of time.
Hello, I changed my user name however the "Check by" box still read as the old one, is there a way to update the JavaScript to reflect the updates? thx!
Autocad still doesn't sell the software, right? They still offer only lease deals, correct? I bought software before they went to lease only, and I will hold onto to it until I die. I refuse to lease software.
Hey there Deezynar, Yes, you're correct, Autodesk no longer sells their software, its based on subscription only. You are definitely one of the lucky ones - hold onto that bad boy forever.
@@Atgusa I don't understand how any professional would allow himself to become dependent on a company for the lease of the tool that he depends on to make his living. It is irresponsible to himself, his family, his employees, and his clients.
I'm trying to package and deploy AutoDesk (AutoCAD, REVIT) app's VIA Intune Company Portal - very frustrating process that incosistantly works when it wants to.
I came across this workflow and while I don't have the CTC Tools I am recreating the same process. I am having an issue though, when I populate the COMCheck parameter and it appears in the Material Schedule there are often multiple iterations of the door or window and the area provided doesn't match the opening area that the door/window takes up. What do I need to do to get the item to show once and to have the correct area?
I bid work and I also pre-con jobs I win for my supes. One of our processes is to install driven small diameter pipe pile in ground. I use the visual search function to locate all the piles, highlight and select a good count icon for them. Count works for bidding for sure. But this only marks the pile locations, and on the plan set the piles are rarely if ever number. So when I get the job I have to go through and number every single pile anyway so that my crew can keep a record of the LF installed at each location. I use a sequence to do that. I’d love a way to convert an existing count in your pdf to be a numbered sequence, without also exploding it out into each individually sequence.
Could you please volumize an as built trench excavation survey including the reduced dig volume to top of trench from the OGL (original ground levels) from a relatable topographic survey dwg. I have to do this and I have no LSS or N4ce or Civils 3d... I can survey the bottom and top line work of trenches and the extent of the OGL cut line, but after that I'm stuck, doing it manually will be a complete headache...
you mentioned that Register 360 and Recap do the same thing, can we do with just Recap? Also i didn't get why a lot of people first do cyclone and then recap when both the softwares do the same thing i.e registeration.
One of the few things that I feel that I haven’t been able to figure out is with Sets. For some reason when I upload new drawings that supersede the original (so new revisions of select files), it prompts you asking if you want you to place a supersedes stamp on the previous revision and asks if you want to copy markups over from the old sheet to the new sheet. I say yes. When there are multiple revisions, what I find is that it not only copies over markups from previous sheets, but it also Carrie’s forward the supersedes stamp, which I don’t want. I have also run into the issue where there are 5-6 supersedes stamps stacked on top of one another. I have no idea why this continues to happen. Very frustrating. If just makes me want to say no to stamping old versions with superseded and no to copying over markups from previous revisions just to keep my set fairly clean - although that’s really not what I ultimately want.
Export the Azure, Chat GPT, Revit, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Inventor, ENGI file of the Building or Refinery to Excel, prepare Budget 1 and export it to COBRA. Prepare Budget 2 and export it to Microsoft Project. Solve the problems of Overallocated Resources, Planning Problems, prepare the Budget 3 with which the construction of the Building or the Refinery is going to be quoted.
