I did try filming a couple of extras that I have with tx, they do sound fuller and louder. totally agree! hahaha haven’t try it with deskeys though. what did you filmed it with?

@@Kw1spyboards i filmed them with 0.3mm poron films which should be similar to Deskeys. I also spring swapped to a 20mm long spring but i don't think a long spring is it for the snow rabbits as it feels a bit too "tight". What are your thoughts of the default spring?

@nocopyrightvideo402 well that’s interesting. I haven’t try it with a 20mm springs. I actually like the stock spring. Cause my sweet spot is around 55-58g. Too bad the stock spring came unlubed. It would’ve been nice if it came lubed from the factory.

@@Kw1spyboards i actually revisited my snow rabbits after this conversation. They do sound different with the long springs. I prefer the sound with the short springs. The long springs kinda make them sound thinner and drier.

totally agree with you there, I might need to try them with mx browns now. I tempted hahaha. I still prefer gmk overall as well. but It’s nice using dcs just for the sake of something different.

hey rassles! yea I did the same to mine. I end up wiping out all the prelube and retuning it with thin coat of 205. It does sound louder. If you are using TX 0.125, you’ll be fine. More than that it does feel too tight.

yea probably, I haven’t try it out on pc plate. I’ve only been using it on alu plate so far, haven’t try it on other plates.

I haven’t try out ergo clears. But compared to mx browns, they are pretty similar in sound. Purples are just slightly more tactile than browns.

oh no, I use a mousepad usually. I just remove it when I’m doing recording, for aesthetic purposes. That’s all hahaha

sound wise they are quite same. I feel mx purples are slightly louder. Very slightly. It does feel more tactile than mx browns.

aside from the stem problem thingy, they are amazing!

I just do some light coat of 205 on all the stem plus the bottom housing railings. oh and I didn’t lube the stem legs, since the client want that tactile scratch feeling of cherry tactiles

@byake I didn’t clean it cause the prelube is only outer portion of the holes on the bottom housing, like the prelube is just so that the spring doesn’t pings. as long as It doesn’t get to the bottom housing holes or side rails. You’re pretty much fine.

It’s not mine. It’s the Acid&Co’s owner board. Also the board is a special unit for vendors, that’s why the engraving is different than the others hahaha

I’ve only try out summertimes once. But it felt like snow rabbit is louder than summertimes. I could be wrong though.

yeah that kinda annoys me a little. but in normal use the softness isn’t that bad in alu plate. as long I don’t press it super hard. but yeah I was considering using gaskets only on the numpad but I’m worried with the difference in sound. Glad someone noticed it as well hahahaha.
