I'm Arlena. I'm a California based cosplayer. That's mostly what this channel focuses on but I enjoy making other videos about beauty and fashion as well. You'll mostly find work logs and tutorials related to cosplays though. I also have a sort of "cosplay 101" series called Welcome To Cosplay where I go over the basics of cosplaying and give some helpful tips and advice on different cosplay-related topics :) I make some Cosplay Showcase videos too! I hope you stick around! :D
I'm planning to make myself a Mio cosplay from Xenoblade 3. I'm not too fond of foam weapons to be honest, but yours look so good that I wanna try myself using your video as a base tutorial (if that's okay, of course !)
They remained individual panels. The belts keep them in place. I put the belts on first, then slide each panel under it and into the spot it goes each time I put it on.
You're gonna be the only reason I get to fulfill my dream of cosplaying Nia I've literally wanted to since the game first came out but I'm poor and the only purchasable cosplay I could find was sort of trashy
Hey, I'm making an OC who has wings on his head, and I was wondering if anybody knew of similar tutorials, I want to find ones about different materials, so I have some sort of variety of options. this one is very helpful so thank you, it is very inspiring
I love the chunky maryjanes. But I disappointed with the belt part. I think, I will not buy it. I will look for another black patent chunky maryjane with secured buckle. Anyway, thanks for the reviews. I almost wa8sted my money.
I'm going to be a genderbent/neutral Vanellope for Halloween so this was very helpful! I also love the idea of Bobby pins for hand made candies! Do you think Model Magic clay would work good as well? I may have to look into wood glue or resin coating, as well :D
hey, i know you probably wont see this, so i will probably end up contacting you on Etsy aswell but i cant seem to access the listing to but the mask template in Canada. it says its not available in my region, but ive looked at the listing before when i started planning my cosplay. just thought i should let you know and hope you can fix get it fixed soon because i really like your patterns!
I'm not sure why it's saying that? But it sounds like Etsy's changed something since I haven't edited my settings. I'll try to see if I can get that fixed!
I might use this for my ren fair costume! I made a bird wig with moving ears, modeled after theOwlchemist, and I have a friend crocheting wings (she’s saving me like $350 making it for me) and hopefully I can make this tail to tie it all together!
I love your meteion video series!! I'm planning to help/make my friend a meteion cosplay and with everything involved, it seemed intimidating, but with ur patterns and videos it feels alot more do able!!!
I'm making a meteion cosplay myself and the one thing you didnt explain is the only thing I dont understood. Everyone keeps saying, "use a headband, use a headband!" In all the cosplay forums and videos, but NO one talks about how to hide it. I already made my wings before I found your video, so mine are super different. I used real feathers dyed blue and built them, but they have a much slimmer base and whether I use magnets or just glue them to a headband, the issue still remains of how to HIDE the headband. How do you keep it from being seen?
You put the headband under your wig and it won't be seen. You should always use strong magnets when making cosplays, so they'll easily connect through the wig. :3
I am so happy that you've been documenting your process for Meteion! I'm looking into cosplaying her too, so your videos and patterns are such a help, so thank you!
Thank you SO much for going over how to mount and place these ears. I'm working on a WOW costume with similar ears and I've been looking for information on how to make those work. Thank you again!
