My name is Enzo Belforte and I am a reptile enthusiast located in the Bay Area. I used to breed leopard geckos, but now I only have one gecko left - my eublepharis hardwickii!

While reptile ownership can be rewarding, there are some bitter truths potential owners should be aware of: Long lifespans - Many reptiles live 15-30+ years. This is a major commitment that outlasts many relationships and living situations. Are you prepared for the long-term responsibility? Specialized care - Reptiles have unique environmental, dietary and enrichment needs. Proper setup and maintenance of heating/lighting, humidity/temperature gradients, appropriate substrate/furnishings, and specialty diets requires diligent daily and weekly care. Neglect can cause health issues. Veterinary care - Exotic vet care for reptiles is often expensive and specialized. Medical issues can arise that require costly diagnostics, procedures, medications. Be prepared financially. Handling difficulties - Many reptiles are not cuddly or interactive pets. They can be skittish or defensive and bite/scratch in fear. Earning their trust takes time and patience. Some species like snakes are never truly "tame." Breeding/sexing challenges - Accurately sexing juveniles can be difficult. Unexpected breeding brings responsibility for offspring care or costly neutering. Loss of interest - Reptile care requires long-term dedication, but hobbies/interests change over 15+ years. What happens to the pet if the owner loses motivation? Rehoming stressed adult reptiles can be hard. While we aim to provide our reptiles lifetime care here at Pet Reptiles Online, potential owners must go into it with eyes wide open to these challenges. Reptile ownership isn't for everyone. Please consider these realities carefully before adopting. Let me know if any other questions! Check out on our website Petreptilesonline.com
Number 10 I like the albinos a lot more I just think the pinks and the yellows are so pretty and their eyes are out of this world just beautiful wonderful pets!!!!!! I have 3!!!!!! two are Albino the third is a mixture of things😂😂😂😂
So am I right in understanding a Super Snow for example would be 'SS'? So if you pair together two Super Snows all the offspring will also be Super Snows?
I really enjoyed the video. Thank you! It kind of answered a question I had, But didn’t completely. I am wondering how often I need to re-Moisen my pearlite or vermiculite I’m using pearlite. 🫶🏻
Yoo broo i was just looking at your vids about geckos cuz i got a female and you helped me im gonna do it now, (brewing my gecko 🦎) and then i saw it was 2 - 4 years ago and i was like no way he stopped:(( then i saw this video and i got happy your ok i was like mannnn😪😪, but its good to know you ok man , wish you the best on your journey 🙏⭐️and blessings
Depends on how well you manage your business. Health and well-being of your animals come first, but it is certainly possible to breed profitably, although not the focus of 99% of the people in the hobby.
I see this video is old, but i just rescued a baby leopard gecko. it seems to be albino or a raptor. has all red eyes almost to the point it looks like he dosent have any. I want to know if the require any special care?
This year or next you have to start doing leopard gecko breeding because they smell like third time watching over your videos and I just really like how you did your videos
Please come back. We're all glad to see you again, end of high school through college can be hectic years but life calms down after that. I hope when you find the time you start breeding again and bring your passion back to the hobby and RU-vid. Take care.
i love this Enzo!!! It’s great to see the progress you’ve made since high school and i love that you can use this account to make connections and grow your passions!
Wow! What a great surprise is to see an old friend. I am so happy to hear things are going well for you. I would love to talk with you, write me through somewhere and we make it happen. Alfonso
Got so excited to see this video notification pop up on my screen while at work and couldn’t be more excited to see a video from you. The last few years have been a wild ride and the projects I’ve started with animals you sent me in that box have consistently blown my socks off. Can’t wait to chat with you soon, and I’m so glad you’re having fun in college
