Bleed or burp 4 cyl ego tec

Tried this yesterday. Unfortunately, it did not help me. I still have trapped air. Idled the car for almost an hour during this procedure. Once I took the car for a drive, the heat inside got luke warm. Also notice when it does this, the overflow reservoir dumps some coolant out, causing a bit of a mess and nice smell!

Is it best to have the heater on high to open up that air vessel?

Brilliant! I only have one bleed valve and it's at the top of a riser but same thing - always some air left. Lots. I was using a tube into a bottle but it wasn't nearly as effective as your method.

Spill free funnel is what you want, because once that plastic gets hot, coolant will be all over the ground. Ask me how I know.. lol

could you put a cutter or engraving tool on output probe? if you used foam, maybe a hot tool.

And make sure the car is cool before taking off that little bleed screw. You know those warnings about not opening the radiator cap? If you want to see why, take off the little screw while the car is hot. Speaking from experience. Needless to say, it made an impression, and I promise not to do it again. :) Survived to tell, after drinking a little coolant, getting a burnt hand, and falling on the floor!

Thank you for the video. I removed one gallon of coolant to change the thermostat on a 2005 Chevy Equinox and then added more coolant.. it started overheating and blowing cool air only. This solved my problem and luckily I had a water bottle that fit just right! 🙌🏼
