Being a kid this terrified me in school, now being an adult and working in an adult field I’m now in a position where other peoples lives are my responsibility at 22. I am an aid for people who have IDD. I would gladly put myself in the face of danger for my residents like this lady bravely did. She is gods angel and my heart breaks for her bravery. It’s heartbreaking but I serve and love and protect these residents like my family. It has changed my mindset so early in life and I’m grateful. I’d like to think I would be brave like this for any stranger too. I live by the motto “if you can’t overcome your fear, do it scared” as well as “doing the right thing is almost never to do the easy thing”
