Don't get me wrong, I have several shovelware plats, and I don't really care about it. But to get to the level of having 100+ of those kinds of games, I just feel like what's the point, it's like just playing the game for the plat. There's so many games where I'm like yeah I'm actually really enjoying this, I'm gonna go for the plat, but then there's others where I'm like yeah nah I've had enough of this game
It’s quite doable to have an account with only decent plats so I can’t understand how people only do mostly easy ones…it’s definitely ocd when people stack and play the same game over and over lol
I have just started trophy hunting about a year ago (currently sitting at 7 platinums because im usually busy). I only go for games that I enjoy apart from one which was bunny raiders, i did it a year ago found it so unenjoyable that i stopped and then did it last week because it was sitting at 90% and i just wanted it over and done with
I actually got the platinum for Hogwarts Legacy in about 45 hours. 100 hours is a massive overestimation. The collectibles were an absolute slog and made it feel twice as long though.
I find it annoying that some games require you to love them to get the platinum (do all the content) yet some require you to eventually hate the game (ridiculous challenges that dont share identity with the main game). Sekiro platinum is a pleasure. RE4 remake demands you give everything to it and mainline it lol.
lol I’ve played smite since 2016 in highschool. I’ve never left it, free to play, consistent new content. I only wish the ranked scene was more consistent but similar to what this vid shows, it takes years to be good at competitive scene lol.
As someone who 100% The Binding of Isaac Repentance I really don't think it deserves to be here, especially since the version in the video doesn't seem to be rebirth, but one of the DLC versions. It takes a while to complete, but is more like a 7 or 8 out of 10.
The people on top of the leaderboars are just addicts that buy 5 times the same stupid shovelware game, it's better having 50 good plats than 10k shovelware
ayo what's gonna happen when you need one of the achievements that you can no longer obtain? arent there achievements for game modes that no longer exist? good luck lol
You're on point bro. I'm the same. I don't go for the platinum unless I really love the game now because I used to grind out games that I was only kind of interested in, but after 600 games, _most games_ are the same, so I just want fun. I was dedicated to finishing games because it was getting my money's worth, but now the games literally arent worth my time.
