it looks cool, but like, the front door IS the bunker.. u could at least do an internal bunker, which would turn those tack-ons into honeycomb for the bunker foundations, and if u build a mini shell around the 2b1 u get more space for boxes, plus inner peaks, and a small shooting floor. the 2by1 is one of the most used footprints, so to say "you can't fit much online raid defence in a 2*1" is a bit shallow. It is a strong base nonetheless, but I'd have look at some other designs to add to it. I dig the wires n electricity tho. looks real nice interior-wise! - not enough people care for that imo.
@Korgie_7 Yeah I'm a total amateur when it comes to defensive building. I mostly decided on the front door terrain bunker because I hadn't used one before, but it's definitely not perfect and seems limiting compared to traditional bunker designs. I'll definitely experiment with the exterior design in the future, but my main focus with the build was on designing a compact 2x1 interior layout that combined the cozy vibes of an rp base with a reasonable amount of storage and a full suite of electrical utilities only using small batteries and solar. Now I can just add the interior into any decent build based off a standard 2x1 that utilizes some of the building techniques you mentioned, basically just a modular rp base core to slot into an actually secure base. Appreciate the feedback!
I just like having the manual switches in the circuits. I actually have plenty of power and storage to run all 3 power circuits 24/7, so there's not really a need to mess with the power at all.
Yeah it'll fold like paper to an online, and the offline protection with the bunker up isn't that much better, but it's just a relatively cheap flank base for the main base in a village, so security didn't need to be too tight.
Hey! I'm currently replaying the game and decided to grind this mission as much as possible. The route you took by taking the stairs at the and helped me get a 1:32.99 Cheers!
Constant supply runs to diamond city on survival with no fast travel get annoying after a while so I just started cheating in the resources lol, thanks!
SnowWhit3 Thanks! If you're talking about the rug, I'm pretty sure it was a drop from one of the enemies from the ice area in that chapter, not entirely sure though since it's been a while since I've played.
can anyone help me? see I want to use garden plots, but I don't have them, I have all dlc's but that is the only particular piece im missing, can anyone help?
+Sergeant Crunch I actually checked miscellaneous resources three times - and slowly :( I saw someone else take it out of there but it just doesn't exist there
+Princess Celestia weird, double check that you have the wasteland workshop downloaded and active. Also, a couple of settlements don't allow plots. The Mechanamist Lair and Boston Airport are the two I remember. other than that I couldn't think of what would cause that.
+Sergeant Crunch ok thanks im an idiot lol, I forgot to download the workshop lol I thought I got everything but I guess im missed one :D thanks for the help!!
Eh, I mostly just upload these as progress diaries for me or to show off to my friends. Commentary would be a bit more work than I'm really interested in. I'd be happy to answer any questions though.
i like ur stuff im not really big on no commentary but if u continue to produce videos as a hobby instead of just a way to show of to friends u may do great. believe me ive seen the backstory of great youtubers so keep on going and hope to see more videos
I doubt I'll ever be interested in taking the channel any further than just occasional videos to chronicle my various projects to show off, but I might experiment with some basic commentary if I do another particularly interesting build. The support is appreciated either way!
